Rey Mysterio suspended for 30 days

WWE.com made the following announcement this evening:

Rey Mysterio suspended for 30 days
Written: August 27, 2009

In accordance with WWE's Wellness Program, effective Wednesday, September 2, Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) is suspended for 30 days for a violation of the company’s policy.

Yup he claimed in a mexican newspaper that it was a medication for his knees and elbow and that wwe told him to get proof of a perscrption for it with in a day but he could not so he was supspended


but my thought is the roids if you look at him in wcw and now the man good biger then he shoud be
also he was linked to the doctor who was chris benoits doctor in that hole hting

Do you think the WWE follows a drug testing policy strictly? I cant see how they do when you see the size of some of those guys....

I think yes and no. If its a top talent like Cena, Batista or Triple H...then no especially Triple H who gets special treatment. But a guy like Chris Masters who was as big as those guys got suspended so many times he got fired and now re-hired. They mainly do it so they don't have the media and such breathing down their necks.

Lie what he said above me, for most of the roster yes its a legit drug test but for cena and batista and hhh they prob dont even have to take the test

This situation is getting really ugly. First Rey does an interview with a Mexican TV station that, if true, makes the WWE look pretty bad. Even if Rey just said he'd made a mistake, I think its protocall for WWE wrestlers to basically just disappear during there suspensions. Today, if you go to WWE.com Rey's suspension is the top story and usually the WWE buries these suspensions on there sites.
