http://rajah.com/base/node/18204During an interview with the Ottawa Sun promoting his new movie, Tooth Fairy, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says he will "absolutely" be returning to World Wrestling Entertainment
. He say he's looking to return this summer after he completes filming on another movie.
"Will I go back? Absolutely. The goal is to go back and do something special. I talked to Vince (McMahon) a couple of months ago and we're trying to come up with something," Johnson told Tim Baines of the Ottawa Sun. "After I wrap 'Faster,' maybe in the summer I can go back."

He better not be coming back as Dwayne Johnson. The bland Dwayne Johnson that appears in bad comedies and late night talk shows.

Didn't he stated almost every year that he is coming back but didn't happen?
Like the old saying or not sure it's old lol but "I don't beleive it, until I see it my very own eyes."

It's very obvious that Rock and the WWE still have a great relationship. Anytime he has a movie coming out, they run the trailer for it non-stop during the commercial breaks on Raw. WWE needs to do something entertaining, because there hasn't been much of that at all recently. They just better hope they don't wait too long and end up losing a large chunk of their viewers to TNA.

So I guess this means there won't be a Cena-Rock match at Wrestlemania? I just hope he's added a few new moves. He gave good promo's but he was very average as a wrestler. It wouldn't surprise me if he has no effect on the ratings. He doesn't have Austin to follow this time so we'll see whether he's a big ratings draw as some claim.

There was a point where Rock was still drawing huge ratings without Stone Cold. Regardless, I think he's gonna come back for a year or two. His last few movies have been bombing big time and I think he needs to give his face a rest in Hollywood for a little while.

I heard, he is coming back to guest host. I think he stated before he probably wouldn't wrestle again.

Thats what I thought too. If he's making bigger money in Hollywood, then why the heck would he want to come back. To get hurt and get paid less?

I think we'll see him guest host at some point. Then later in the night he'll give someone a rock bottom and a people's elbow. That's about all the wrestling I expect to see him do anymore. Would be nice to see one more Rock and Austin match, but I don't think Austin could hold up anymore.

I'm not disagreeing, but would he have pulled in similar ratings without Austin and DX pulling in huge ratings before the Rock became big? It's very debatable.

Some wrestlers do enjoy to wrestle and don't do it for the money. Just because a lot of celebrities care about the money far more than their art doesn't mean pro wrestlers will be the same way.
