Trading Hart was the right thing. Keeping him would’ve been great, of course. But, IMHO …

1. During Hart’s next contract, Sharpe takes all his minutes at SG and even at SF.
2. Thybulle replaces a fair share of his D but cheaper … not the O or rebounds, obviously.
3. Portland has to make their move at SF. A big step forward … and Ant is likely involved (not Shaedon).
4. The 1st rounder makes #3 possible (whether as part of a trade package if the Chicago pick goes this summer — or instead of it to Chicago to free future picks if ours is a lottery pick this year).

Yep, tough move to make. Great guy, excellent role player. But a move that made sense.
