I strongly disagree with this statement. Camara is a better player right now, pretty easily. Murray as a team IQ defender at the SF position is much better than Bol would likely ever be, and Reath for all of his lack of upside is a decent stretch C who at least tries on defense.

I'm telling you, he stinks...we watched him in ORL and the boards were throwing around the "unicorn" tag...don't do it!

He does not have natural gifts - other than tall. I'm not even calling him lazy - that would just be a cherry on top.

BTW, send us Brogdon.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

Everything I’ve heard about his ability to understand simply where to stand on the court has me thinking I don’t ever want him in a Blazers uniform.

ALL of the impact (that I can recall) was grabbing a rebound, dribbling wildly and crashing into a wild layup- just solo adventures...they actually went in a lot :o but zero defensive presence or offensive team play. He could also knock down an open 3 but just really didn't seem to have any concept of good basketball.

As much as I enjoyed the Will Barton Experience, I think once was enough. (And Barton was a lot better than Bol.)

I still feel strongly that picking up Bol and really giving him an opportunity would be a small cost to the Blazers and wouldn’t stunt anyones growth (low risk and high reward). Let Bol play thru his mistakes and have coaching really work with him and develop him as a player (bring in shooting coaches, strength and conditioning coaches).

Send Simons and Time Lord over for Cole Anthony (to be a more appropriate 6th man than $26m Simons) and a couple of picks.

That'll save you another $26m to go spend on the Bol Bols of the world.
