What? Seriously? Yeah, let's announce something that should be great news, but make sure that the message is muddled\confusing so that most people struggle to find out whether or not it can be broadcast on their provider, not the Blazers problem though right? You would think that they MIGHT want to address all that right out of the gate? Clear & concise? You know, how professionals do such things?

No instead, let's expect the fans to figure all that out (even though your provider has charge!, no local broadcast, nope need an antenna for that!), expect fans to go buy the antenna & install it & find the broadcast, all because they are too lazy, cheap or incompetent to reach out to streaming providers or negotiate to have the games on the local feeds for their own PARTNER (Sinclair) which they clearly should be able to do and should have done BEFORE they announced it.

Who is trying to sell who here again? Who is trying to drive fan engagement, that has fallen off a cliff? I don't know if you have season tickets or not, but I can tell you they are BEGGING people to keep their tickets right now. Do you think they are offering this TV option out of the goodness of their heart? Of course not, they are bleeding fan support, so what do you do? You offer FREE ways to watch to drive engagement, except they are so incompetent they cannot even do that right.

Seriously, the fans' fault, wow. Are you Bert Kolde in disguise?

Yet you seem to be the only one freaking out about it....

Businesses can't (and shouldn't) keep everyone happy. Serve the 90% providing a good experience, and let the unreasonable 10% complain.

IMO - the Blazers did an excellent job communicating this: https://www.nba.com/blazers/watch

Yep, that's the same article I saw. For Eugene:

Eugene
OTA Antenna:
Eugene - KVAL: Channel 13.2
Roseburg - KPIC: Channel 4.2
Coos Bay - KCBY: Channel 11.2

Cable:
Comcast, TBD.TV Network: Channel 313, 1186
Spectrum, TBD.TV Network: Channel 187

Well, it doesn't look like the Blazers games are available over the air in Eugene. Channel 13.2 is something called TBD and for the 3 hours between 7:00pm and 10:00pm tonight they are airing 6 episodes of Whose Line is it Anyway?

Looks like another season of not watching Blazers games for me. If the product on the floor was better, I'd pay the $120 for Blazervision, but given the "quality" of this roster and a terrible coach who won't develop the young players, I'd rather spend that money elsewhere.

That is OK everyone, it is your fault. The Blazers did what they needed to do & if you can’t figure it out well that’s on you.

Yes, I’m being sarcastic. It’s a mess, the fact that they had to go on Twitter an hour or so before the game trying to explain how you could get an antenna and find the transmission to watch the game should tell you everything you need to know about what a cluster**** you know what this was.

For those who want or need DVR to watch the blazers, I am using the AirTV2 which is a standalone OTA DVR. It works through the sling app, so you need to have a chromecast type thing to run the app. you buy the airtv2 and a hard drive and you can record OTA channels with no monthly fee! You do not need to pay for sling to use it. I used it last night to record the blazers game and it worked well.

You can put the AirTV2 in any room and then it connects to your TV through wifi. This is key for me because my main TV is in the basement, but I can put the AirTV2 and antenna in the upstairs where I get much better reception.

If I remember correctly the airtv2 unit was around $100, and the hard drive was $60 and the antenna was about $20. So under $200 as a 1 time fee and you can watch and record ABC/NBC/FOX/CBS/CW for free for years.

For whatever reason, Direct TV is giving me the league pass for nothing this season and for $99,
its a good buy to see some good ball.

I likely won't miss seeing the Blazers until they back closer to .500
