This team definitely has some real talent, and you can tell I think Billups is a lame duck coach without question. They will let him walk out the door this season then really push to be competitive next year especially if they get the #1 pick and are able to draft Flagg.

Who would you want to be the next head coach? Promising assistant coach or one of the recycled
coaches?

A lot of young talent that needs to be molded into a system, get them integrated while they are still young and before they become jaded vets. Find their identity, focus on the players that fit that identity and then fill in with players (young or vet) who fill the missing parts needed.

I'd still throw a hat in the ring for Danny Hurley, he flirted with coming to NBA LY and I think at some point he is going to make the jump, good coach, has a system, gets players to buy in and is smart enough to know that some of the things he does in college will not work in the NBA. Moving to the NBA and starting with a young team would be helpful for him.

UConn has a big recruiting class coming in for next season but I wonder if Jody is still around, she would prefer
the team make another run at Becky Hammon. It would be an Oregon thing to do, which is to name the first
female head coach

Didn't she face some sort of controversy in the WNBA?
