And this is one of the dumbest thing about Billups coaching strategy. I know we live in a modern era where teams jack up 3 pointers. But the team was 15/50 from 3. 50 three pointers attempted. After going 8/43 last game. Repeat that. If you are jacking up 3s at a rate that my drunken ass can hit - even at a pro level with pro defenders, it's not some money ball "a 3 is worth 50% more than a 2" offensive scheme.

You have to be able to hit outside shots to compete in this game and to open up shots in the point. The difference between now and 50 years ago when there was no 3-point line was that you had to be able to hit long 2's to be able to open up paint shots. You have the lack of snipers, plus coming off a long road trip which sort was another road game against Detroit because they were on a plane again that night after the game to play Golden State the next night.
