They aren't good enough that adding a MLE type talent is going to put them in contention. Seems like they are better off just rolling with who they have and see if any of the young guys make a big jump this year. It's boring to say it but even if they get a decent role player, that might move them from 11 to 10th in the west or something. Bleh.

I actually agree that the best option is probably the most boring, that’s to just roll mostly with who they have. I don’t think FA is super important this year.

I’m excited they’re finally closer to going with full youth… tho the Jrue deal is still pretty confusing to me.

The rest of the free agent is so bare. I'd much rather keep it for a TPE in season.

Agreed.

We do need to add like 2 guys tho right? Aren’t we at 13. Gotta assume Caleb Love is a 2 way.

Not feeling that we NEED to use the MLE is the vibe I'm also feeling from Cronin. Unless it's for a player that has staying power as a potential starter, why waste the money on a player that will just eat the needed minutes of our core youth, or ride the bench. Not much of a selection left in Free Agency anyway. Kuminga in my view might be the only exception and I would definitely consider offering him a much needed fresh start from those A-hole Warriors. Think I'd like to steal him, from them.

Otherwise, I don't know who else I'd really want over what we have. Off-Topic: I've been thinking hard about how much I hate Grant... not at all actually, and if we are trying to win, who would we trade him for that would be better than Grant? Rui? Not super excited about him, even being his biggest champion around here. I think day one, we should start him at the 2, with Sharpe as the b/u 2. Same with Scoot: Start Jrue day one, out of respect I guess, and have Scoot eventually earn the starting gig. Camara/Thybulle at the 3, Deni/RWIII at 4, with finally Cling-Kong/Yang-Bang at the C........

Can't wait. Rip City Baby. I think this team will suprise many. Kuminga would look awesome, but because of minutes, might not be the best target in the end. Maybe some sharp shooter would be better, but IDK for the life of me, WHO? I think maybe sitting this one out and save the money might be the smartest move. Again, in true Cronin fashion, only Smart moves and Nothing Sexy.
