well, it sucks... i was at work and just got to see the last 17 seconds of the game...
but watching the boxscore, the blazers had a safe lead, i presume they were confident and then had the head to come back and makes things right.
i also thought wade was going to have a free pass by the refs, but the blazers had 31 FT, the heat 18...
2-2, let's go on another winning streak!!!

Team defenses are already entirely geared to stop Roy, and he's getting double- or triple-teamed every time he gets the ball. Yet he's still putting up 20 points per game in incredibly efficient manner, and getting 5 boards and 6 assists to go along with it. We've seen his game grow even in the last couple of months: it's amazing how quickly he's been able to extend his range to the 3-pt line. He can get post-position and score with his back to the basket, he can drive and finish, drive and dish, hit mid-range, and defend at a very high level.
Even if this IS his ceiling, he's easily one of the top players in the NBA and a perennial all-star.

Are you really implying that wade cares more about scoring than winning? It's not his fault that the line up around him is absolute crap.
Oh no, no, no. I'm just saying i'm glad the Blazer's have a star that is so multifaceted and can win in so many ways. Roy conserved his energy on a back-to-back and scored just enough and involved his teamates just enough to get the win. Trying to do what he did at the beginning of the 4th for the whole game (fighting double and sometimes triple teams as well as a whole defense basically geared to stop his penetration) may have not been as effective as doing it when it counted.
Wade is an amazing scorer and if his team could actually hit a jump shot they would be much better.

How is that clear in any way? The 40 inch vertical isn't enough for you?
Hes being incredibly sarcastic, both me and ron earlier this year were saying Roy was capable of being as good as Drexler and got lambasted by just about everyone on the board. Now everyone is on the bandwagon we started earlier this year
