Travis is closer to a poor mans T-Mac than Lamar Odom. I know he's a hybrid forward like Lamar but the he sets up his shot and where he take his shots from is more McGrady.
Another comparo would be Dirk, less skill/size ,better athleticism.

I think with those two we're beyond poor man comparisons and all the way to homeless man comparisons. Travis is so far away from the McGrady/Dirk league it isn't even worth comparing him to them.

I'm sorry, but if a player has only scored more than another player's career average four times in five years, rebounded more than that other player's career average only six times, he's not a poor man's version of that second player but a homeless man's version. And that's just Dirk. With McGrady, it's even worse since McGrady's career scoring average is better than Dirk's, but that's not even the point--McGrady is just so much better at every aspect of the game. You're comparing two players that are perrenial all-stars and likely hall of famers to a player in Travis that isn't even a starter for his team because he can't seperate himself all that much from Martell Webster.
Comparing Travis to those two is just simply wrong. If he ever gets close to the levels they've maintained over their careers for even a season I'll be shocked.
