I cant believe I forgot the ref bump!!
I remember thinking, HAHA REF FLOP!!

The ganja deal is a sign hes not to smart
and players like that can do dumb things
which can turn into trouble which is what
the Blazers have worked so hard to stay
clear from. Now if thats the only thing I
guess you can say its a kid being a kid
but its something that makes you go hmm.

Well, Wikipedia lays down the law at least. :P

I agree with you about the dropped pot charge. Its not enough for me to not want us to draft him were he to fall to us, but it definitely makes you stop and think for a second.

The ref thing was blown WAY out of proportion. I remember when that whole story exploded and you can clearly see in the video that it was...nothing.

There is also a lot to be said about how Mayo has been in the spotlight for a long time, therefore things like the ref incident get blown out of proportion.

The weed story is a bit more interesting, but to Mayo's credit it hasn't held him down. His friend took the heat and I think he has since "moved on".

I think Arenas is a reasonable comparison, I used to really dislike Mayo's mannerisms but I think he's done well since going to USC and "underperforming". At this point I would be much more worried about Beasley than Mayo. The performance that really won me over for Mayo was against Memphis before the Pac-10 season started. He really played into the team mentality and he showed really passion defending Rose and cutting him out of that game. I agree that Mayo is a steal if he is around near the tenth pick, I still think he's a bit of a wild card, but the upside at that point in the draft is too much to pass up.

Wait dude so explain all of the pmsing and moaning all over the Portland AND Denver board over something you don't even care about? Moodswings much?

My mood hasn't swung at all; I've been rather happy all day. I just thought it would be funny to pretend this trade mattered at all.

LOL at this being the Blazers' move. We couldn't just not make one, either...this had to be it.

Ah well. Wafer leaves at season's end and Rudy Fernandez steps in.

Did you all see the Randolph trade that almost went down to Milwaukee? Wow, his value is way low.
