I'd rather have KP, at least hes got a proven track record of doing it. People are so into that guy because hes a "nice guy who wants change" and is a good public speaker and it scares the hell out of me. It will be a dark day for this country if Obama is elected president. You heard it here first.
Go Blazers!
No, we didn't hear it here first. This little talking point that he is all speeches is a nice easy to consume snippet for people who don't take the time to look into things. If you look into his actual record and accomplishments at getting bills through (ie changes) they are noteable. What is most noteable is his ability to work across boundaries and parties (look into how many bills he was able to pass, often co-authored across party in even his short time in us senate and compare it to other candidates). He has been noted in the Senate by both republicans and democrats alike for working effectively across party lines. For how much people always complain that "nothing gets done" in gov't one would think this would be a highly valued skill.
Dark day for this country? I'd wake up because we ARE in the dark days of our country. Dark days are when candidates cater to their 'side' at the expense of the nation. When they play up divisiveness in the country rather then embracing everyone as these united states. Look at our greatest presidents in history and examine what skills they possessed. They were not great because they were career politicians...
I'm not sure why this needs to be said though, he supports the blazers

I'm for anyone not named Hillary. Ron Paul? Sure. Huckabee? Why not. Hussien Obama? Bring him on.
And phish, your idea of dark days in politics is just another day at the office. All politicians do that. I'd say we are seeing dark days because of a war that doesn't have an end in sight and an economy that is perched on the edge of recession. Whether that's all W's fault or not or whether Obama or any other politician can fix it I do not know.
Just give me a President not named Hillary and I'll be happy.
