Every Thu. (I believe at 5:30pm) on 1080 The Fan: Primetime
with Isaac & Suke, Frye will join them to talk about anything
and everything. LOL This should be funny, Frye is fun.. .

First show is tomorrow.

That'd be very ironic if Frye were traded tomorrow.

I'm actually so excited about this that I'd be a little mad if we traded Frye no matter how good the trade.

Short Recap

*Fryes sad to see Green go.
*First thing that went thru Fryes mind when he was traded was joy & he gets to play with Oden & Roy and a new start. He didnt like New York.. .
Portland is more to his style, laid back & not pushy. New York wasnt that.
*Fryes fav movie as of late. No Country for Old Men. He hated I Am Legend. It made no sense he said.
*Doesnt believe the NBA image problem is fixed, but its a little better. There will always been problems because its people being people.

Thats the sum of it. There was lots of small talk
but nothing to important. Hes a pretty funny guy.
Normally the shows will be each Thu. at 5:25pm.

I like Frye and the thing is after the obvious 3 Trade assets the next 2 are Outlaw and Frye. I am afraid this summer Frye might be traded and i think he could be a vital cog off the bench for this team.

Gavin Dawson got fired from 1080 The Fan...

I'll miss the Sports Saturday show. Plus, he was one of the few guys on 1080 who really understands the NBA.

Corrected for accuracy.

I just don't see Frye being one that KP will move for a while as he is the our depth at PF next year, especially if Outlaw is the next out of town. I feel this is especially true because Frye has shown a nice aggressiveness on the boards and a willingness to do more of the dirty work than Outlaw.

He was on The Rick Emerson Show (970 AM) today at 2:00PM talking about being let go by the Fan.

If you want to hear him, click on this link... http://www.970.am/ Then click on the Play Button (Red with Black Triangle) for Hour 4. He comes on about half way through that hour.

Dawson tries to pimp Sports Saturday to try and get it back on the air on 970. Ya never know, Rick Emerson is the Program Director for the station, so he might try and pull some strings to get him back on the air soon.

I liked Gavin very much to. Hes the only guy on the
Fan that is a die-hard Blazers fan & its true, hes the
only one that really understood, many times he had
to step in & correct Isaac or Suke or whoever about
a NBA player or why Pritchard did something & so on.

Him & I have sent many emails at eachother, hes
a good guy and it sucks to see him be let go.. .

I was told he was let go but didnt know for sure.
I guess it is.. .lame!!
