I hope they don't push to hard. Just stay healthy and beat LA guys.

I think everyone is being rather pessimistic. I am not swayed either way. We're going against Golden State tonight. A win here would be quite big and I think would really up our chances of getting into the Playoffs. We're the underdog at this point, but I wouldn't count us as being out quite yet. Also I have a feeling Houston will cool off considerably once not having Yao catches up with them. Though tonight Houston is going against Denver & a Denver loss would help us more than a Houston win would hurt us.

So if Denver loses & we win tonight, then I say our chances greatly improve in just a single day.

If we can win tonight I think things will look considerably better. Would give us the tiebreaker over GS. I am not sure about who I would rather have lose the Houston-Denver Game. I think we will win tonight, especially if Przybilla gets his usual 8 pts in the 1st quarter against GS. But in no way are they easy to get by.

If the Blazers go 10-3 over the next 13 games, they'd probably still not have closed the gap between themselves and Denver, Golden State, Houston, and Utah. And even after that, it would still take an unlikely surge against great teams to win 6 or 7 of the last ten, which is what it would take to get into the playoffs.

I'm pessimistic, too, but I'm aware enough of the futility of predicting future NBA games that I won't say it can't happen.

If we play good basketball then there's always a chance for us to make the playoffs....you never know when other team hits a slump and there is still 20+ games left....

I think our chances are now greatly diminished with the loss... Unless Houston/Denver/GSW tank big time, I doubt we'll make it :(

Blazers aren't getting into the playoffs but I'm pleased to see Nate McMillan is tired or raising the white flag before the season is over.

I had us at 5 % before the loss to GS. Now I say like 2%, and that could decrease further with more than one loss on the upcoming road trip. I wouldnt say that our run was a fluke, I just think that we have some holes that can be filled. We should all be very pleased with our season, IMO.
