LMA is surely not Blount, but he's been outrebounded 10 to 2 by Big Al - so I hope those who said that LMA is more of a beast, now stand corrected.

That shouldn't come as any shock. We've all known that LaMarcus needs to work on his rebounding for some time now.

I think every blazer fan on these boards is aware that LA needs to work on his rebounding. That being said I really don't get the Blout comparison. Can you just name any mediocre big and put the title "rich man" in front of them and thats all you need?

well, i got home in time to see most of the game when there was left like 6 mins of the 2nd qtr.

i have to say that i was pleased with what i saw. roy, blake, aldridge and joel won the game for the blazers.

on joel, he was doing a great job stopping jefferson and whoever wanted to enter the paint. on offense the blazers need a player like jefferson in the paint (i hope oden does it), the kind of strong, punding player that will make you pay. but joel was being a rock, standing still and sometimes made him miss the shots under the rim.

blake was handeling well the ball, giving roy the space to move and when he didn't have the ball he was also helping by constantly moving and creating some holes.

on aldridge, he was doing ok on defense and was having a pretty good offensive game. i love how he shoots, it looks so sweet how he goes so high and makes the clean shots. he also had several turn-around jumpers that were awesome.

and roy, what can you say about roy. he had a great second half on both sides. most of the 3rd qtr he was doing more defensive work and ball handeling. but when he got back on the court for the 4th qtr he took over and i'm pretty sure he only missed 1 FT and made all of his other shots. i love how he's not scared of penetrating when it seems crowded and still make the bucket, how he makes his own shot and how he finds other players.

and about the bench. well, i think they weren't that much of an impact on offense, but they did at defense.

i wanted to see more of martell, but when you have roy and aldridge shooting and playing so well i understand how martell kind of gets lost, because when he has the opportunity he looks with so much preassure that his shots are short or long.

overall the blazers were always in the game and even though they were in some moment behind by 7-9 pts they didn't get desperate and started building the comeback and then roy simply took over.

Basically I think I'm understanding the Foye vs Roy argument. Clearly it's much better to have untapped game that we assume is there than abilities that are consistently shown and result in an all-star appearance.

Makes perfect sense to me. Pritchard got pwned.

well, yes, i think kp got owned.

i mean, comparing roy and foye in yesterdays game, roy is taller so he made all his final attempts (between 2 and even 3 wolves players) and won the game for the blazers.

foye got blocked twice by joel trying to make the same play roy did...

i dont want to sound like an idiot, but wow..people from Minnesota are dumb. first they compare Brandon Roy to Randy Foye (yuck) and then they compare LaMarcus Aldridge to Mark Blount? WTF are they smoking?

I dont give a **** that Foye was hurt. Roy's potential is way way way higher than Foye's.

And dont even get me started with LMA and Mark Flount..errr Blount. I understand LMA needs to work on his rebounding skills, but comparing these two and saying they are very similar is just stupid.
LMA is light-years ahead of Mark Blount.
It just shows how smart T Wolves fans are.

And Blazers fans, because Blazers fans compare them as well.

That would be comparing them
