Thanks for the heads up Fitz! I didn't watch a lot of the Championship game last year because I didn't think we'd ever have a chance at Oden and I had already seen enough of Brewer (our presumed pick at 6) to know what we would have gotten out of him.

Just turned the game on and in a span of about 30 seconds he has a swat at one end of the floor, then out-muscles Horford on the other for an easy lay-in.

I can't wait for next year...

That game is by far the best example of what Oden will bring to us next year. In that game he was just starting to get used to having both hands(due to the cast being taken off of his wrist near the end of the season), and it was the first game of the tournament other than the 1st round where he hadn't been in serious foul trouble for large portions of the game. It was also a game where he clearly decided "screw it I'm going all out and if I get hurt I get hurt", much like he did on the last play(or was it next to last?) of the Georgetown semi-final game where he laid himself out in the air to come up with a monster block on Jeff Green.

Anyone who thinks Oden is going to be a complete beast is **** delusional - Oden absolutely abused Noah(#9) and Horford(#3) that whole game, the difference in the game were the wings, even though Florida had one of the most stacked frontcourts in NCAA history(Chris Richard was drafted too, as was their SF Corey Brewer #7). Despite the incredible amount of talent on the other side Oden was clearly the best player in that game and it wasn't close.

It's shocking to see how thin Oden looked then as compared to now.
