Blazers should take this team seriously, they know they have a rough schedule coming up. I hope they come out and look to take care of business from the first few minutes like they did against Phoenix.

Not only is a tough schedule coming up but Dennis Smith Jr is a monster and is the type of guy who can kill you if you let him and our guards seem to give opposing guards career highs so we need to take him seriously.

We need to make this a grind it out game. Don't get into a shootout with the mavs. Make this a defensive affair, play hard and with effort on D. For goodness sakes we have lost to the Hawks already.

I don't want to jinx it, but he isn't capable of it. The guys who have gone off on us have been stars. Beal Harden Booker. Smith is a good rookie albiet a bit overhyped given he can't shoot well, but is not a star.

The guard I'm worried about is Mathews. If anyone is going to come in focused on downing the Blazers at the 3pt line for not even contacting him in his later days as a Blazer, it's going to be Mathews.

I could see both he and Dirk having big 3pt shooting games.

Well another good start to the game by the Blazers yet again, a little lackluster with securing those rebounds but they got out to a nice lead.

Need to keep it up as Dallas has some players who if they get a hot stretch can get them back into it

Well solid first half by the Blazers if they would have kept turnovers more under control it would be an even larger lead. This team looks unbeatable when both Lillard and McCollum are on fire on the offensive end.

This is why I hope Nurk can develop into a consistent 3rd scorer as when there is more than one player scoring well this team is so much better. I would also like a consistent scorer at the sf position

Dirk apparently got in a **** time machine and went and switched places with himself from 6-7 years ago before this game.

Terrible start to the 3rd. Portland needs to re-focus on what got them the lead in the first half

Dame's hot shooting got them the lead...he hasn't a FGA yet in the 2nd half

Nurkic looks cloddish tonight. His inconsistency really hurts.

McCollum was also lighting people up when Lillard sat, the combination of the two was a huge part of the offense in the first half.
