I don't think Collins plays again this year, that's a real easy injury to re-aggravate if not allowed to fully heal. In any case by the time they could bring him back, Portland will be effectively eliminated from the playoffs so what would be the point.

is a bit much.

I think you could be right, particularly if the team continues to suck. Wasn't his timeline to return right at the end of the season? If the Blazers somehow make the playoffs, maybe he plays, but I think it really depends on where the team is at. It may also depend on what Nurkic is doing and what the Blazers get for Whiteside and Bazemore before the trade deadline. So many factors go into the decision to play Collins or not. I don't think we can quite answer that at this time, but I'm leaning in your direction Soulyss.
DaVoiceMaster wrote:Watching Melo play. He sure likes to take the smaller player to the basket, which is great. However, as many times as he has tried so far since coming back into the league, I gotta wonder if he can actually dunk the ball anymore. He just doesn't seem to have much lift. How many times have we seen him snuffed at the hoop? I expect that when the guards take the ball to the basket, but I don't expect that from a power forward with decent height.

No way all of those players are still on the roster come playoff time. Bazemore and/or Whiteside gotta go. Hopefully the Blazers can turn those expiring contracts into something going forward. I have no idea what that is, but I know it isn't Blake Griffin!!! Good luck with your season ending surgery... AGAIN!!! I'm torn on Kevin Love. I have never been a fan of his, but he is the type of player to fit Stott's offense. His defense kind of fits the Blazers, as well.

Congratulations. You went over to the losing teams forum and trolled. Errr, I mean gloated. Feel better? You are a winner!!! Next time we play, maybe we won't be missing 4 starters.

I think Whiteside + 1st for Covington and Dieng would be interesting. Then maybe Bazemore for Batum. Gives defensive versatility, and a decent SF playmaker.

Yes, I feel better thanks for asking & yes we won the game! See you in February no excuses, starters or not.
Whiteside and Bazemore will remain Blazers and that is also good news.

I guarantee that neither will be Blazers next season. And that's great news.
