POR Incoming - Knox/Satoransky
POR Outgoing - Ariza/Hezonja/2022 1st
Ariza probably isn't in our future and neither is Hezonja, Satoransky gives us a 3 POS player, But who would ultimately become that pass 1st defensive backup PG we need and Knox could be that PF we need to help bolster our starting 5 or could be a great F to come off the bench
NY Incoming - Markkanen
NY Outgoing - Smith JR/Knox/2020 1st(Via LAC)/2021 1st(Via DAL)
Smith JR isn't in NY future the same could be said for Knox as he would be included in any trade for the 3 PT/Mid range shooter at the starting PF spot that they need. Plus the 1st's are picks that are most likely going to be in the 20-30 pick range. so they can afford to put those in this deal
CHI Incoming - Ariza/Hezonja/Smith JR/2020 1st(NY)/2021 1st(NY)/2022 1st(POR)
CHI Outgoing - Markkanen/Satoransky
The picks and Smith JR would help them with their rebuild, Hezonja is a cheap filler, and Ariza they can waive to save them $. NTM they can use any of these guys to include in a trade to nab them something they really need
I believe this is a low cost/high reward trade for all teams involved. Either way we save money, Improve the team, and get to save some money to use in FA...potentially

Re: POR/NY/CHI
Markannen is not worth 3 firsts. Not even close. I'd also much rather have Ntilikina than Satoransky as a defensive minded PG. I feel he still has some untapped potential whereas Satoransky is a known quantity
