We could go back to playing Nate McMillan ball if that's your thing.

I know there are a few around here that would rather wallow / blow it up than consider an alternative, but I will throw this out there if anyone hasn't see it:

Read on Twitter

If this is true (and the theory seems reasonable to me) Portland would be something like 23 - 10 or 22 - 11 right in the scrum for 2nd in the west... Would we be upset with that or calling for Stott's head?

:dontknow:

Feels like most of us would be singing a different tune... food for thought.

Even if you believe stats could measure probable wins, it wouldn't be possible to measure Blazers wins lost by injury. There is no control to compare with. Zach has only 2 or 3 games as starter before he injured his shoulder and later his ankle. Our sample size of Nurk since he broke his leg is very small, and there is no data with him and Zach as healthy starters. We have no data with Lillard, CJ, Nurk, RoCo, Zach, DJJ, GTJ, Melo, and Kanter as our healthy rotation, which you would need for an accurate control. Stats of these players with other players does not represent what their stats would be in the roles they would have in the above 9-man rotation.
