Brandon Williams

I've been extremely impressed with this kid. He plays like a mini-Kyrie Irving (can slash, shoot and finish). Hes not a true PG but he can get buckets. Hes 100x better than Dennis Smith and you can tell hes fearless on the court.

Im not sure how these 2 way deals work (does he have to have the cap on the number of games he can play a year for PDX?)
I would love to have this guy as the back up PG or at least 3rd PG next year.

I think we should sign him to a Watford type deal if possible. Your right I really like the kid. I can imagine a scenario where we lock him up then move him for some assets later or in the unlikely event of a Lillard trade he makes for a nice Ant back up. He gets to the line but his shooting at the stripe is hideous. If he can fix that he could be a stabilizing presence getting buckets off the bench. I would cut Elijah tomorrow and give that roster spot to Brandon.
Funny how I think we have 2 (possibly 3 as I see Keon being a stud next year) top 20 rookies and didn't have a pick until we traded into the draft for GB3 (who's talented enough to be a steal too).
From Portland to Reno to Vegas to LA to SLC and on to HotLanta. Winning at life. Too Blessed to be Stressed

I would agree that he's a keeper, and a Watford type deal as our back-up PGOTF would be well deserved. Starting to also get that feeling about Dunn as well. Simons/Williams/Dunn looks really solid to me, as our PG's going forward.
