Perhaps I give Wilt more credit than you. I think he figured out how to improve his chances of winning. You think he was placed in a can't lose situation. He was fortunate to be on one of the best all-time team's, but it wasn't the first time he was on a good team.

Your paraphrasing is largely unrelated to my point. Indeed it is close to building a strawman. My point was that Wilt with a very talented surrounding class realized he didn't need to score as much (most games). With a similar group of teammates Lillard might come to similar realization and be more like you wish him to be.
