One has to wonder about KD now.

Marc Spears had reporting about what happened when the Suns were that close to moving KD to the Warriors. Apparently KD went to the Suns management personally when he got wind of the deal to kill it. He told them he's OK being moved but not to there and to work with him to find a new spot. Knowing KD's very fragile ego, I have to wonder if this episode won't be a nail in the coffin for him and Phoenix. I can easily see him demanding out this summer.

Followup question is does that happen before the deadline or this summer.

I definitely can see Dallas... they also might want to move him out East.

KD is a weird fit, I think the days of him bringing back 10 FRPs and top level young talent are oooover. He's only really going to be coveted by teams in a window to win now and don't have a massively long window, so again, I can see Dallas, I'm sure the Lakers would if they could, Clippers, Denver, Milwaukee, maybe Boston... maybe.

Yeah he's definitely not worth that price anymore, feels like the injuries and probably mostly the age have caught up with him.

If I had to guess I think it happens in the off season as it's getting pretty late in the game for a move. Seems like gs was pulling for him (or perhaps miami?) but it fell apart. I think if a kd deal was gonna happen before the off season that would have been the deal

As much as Cronin is frustrating, I couldn't be happier the Blazers don't have the Bulls GM...

Imagine being stuck with the Lonzo contract for all these years, finally being done with it and then giving him a new extension months before he expires because he was finally able to play 30 games for the first time in 3 years... and he's not even playing good.

I hope we arent this dumb but if we get past the deadline with this roster intact I'm afraid ayton and ant will be offered extensions

I could see it with Ayton depending on the number. Ant, I'm not sure.

Yeah, the Blazers current guys and the Bulls with Lonzo is apples or oranges.

Lonzo missed 3 years of basketball and only just got back to the league and is putting up some really unimpressive stats his first 30 games back, to look that player and go... yep, lets have that around for 2 more years...

At this rate, the only player I see moved tomorrow is likely Reath for a second rounder and cash.

I think that the last big name left is Ingram, and rumors are he could be headed to TOR

All these trades, all these significant players moved, and POR apparently standing pat with 5? 6? players that they could/should move on from. Can’t wait to hear the copium tomorrow from Cronin & his media shills on how he could not find a deal worth making

Interesting move by DET, wonder if this is in anticipation of a deal or a sign they are rolling with what they have

That is fear #1 now. We could easily make mistakes on Ayton, Williams & Simons.

Potential TOR deal for Ingram is probably the reason they backed out of taking Kyle Anderson, which MIA now retains.
