Could be smoke, or it could be real. Typically when players say they're hearing a team is seriously interested in them, it's pretty accurate. I remember Roy saying he was hearing Portland was REALLY interested in him prior to the 06 draft.

What do you guys think? Lillard @ #6. Too high?

The only way that I'm ok with this is if Davis, Robinson, Beal, MKG, and Drummond are all off the board, and they don't believe Barnes will pan out to anything special. If that's the case, I can live with Lillard @6

One things for sure. I would take Lillard over Lamb every day of the week. After watching Lamb's interview at the combine with Andy Katz this morning, I want nothing to do with that guy.

I would still take Sullinger at 6 ahead of Lillard

If I wanted Lillard, I'd look to move back slightly with 6. I imagine GS at 7, Tor. at 8 and maybe even Detroit at 9 would all like Barnes, and none a real threat to take Lillard. So move backa pick or 3 and get another asset.

Toronto wants Barnes so we could move back 2 spots and pick up something from them

I was gonna say this as well.

Guys, you are debating taking a player for fit again. One of Robinson, MKG, Barnes, Beal or Drummond will fall to us. If you don't like them, don't pass that player over and take Sullinger or Lillard. Someone will pay for that player, trade back 4-5 spots and pick up what you can.

Either Lillard or Marshall should be there at #11 and I'm fine with either one there. No need to reach at #6 and pass a talented player when you can get a PG at #11.

I'm not concerned about Marshall's shooting. That is one of the easiest things to work on and improve. It might not be great for the first year or two but shooting is a common weakness that most overcome. You just can't teach the court vision he has.

Just a bunch of small things. Like he was asked why he didn't participate in the drills, and he said after talking to his agent they decided not to. Then Katz asked him what his goal was in this combine was, and he said to show people his competitiveness, and how he wanted to win. That just came off as completely contradictory.. Then he said he knows people question his motor, and when Katz asked what his weekness was, he said he wasn't aggressive at times, but when he was playing against good players, he thought he was. Just a bunch of stupid answers

The Blazers will workout Sullinger, Lillard, Rivers, Wroten next week. And Chris Haynes made an interview with Lillard. Here it is:

Wesley Matthews just came by the scores table and said, "I ain't f***king losing no more."

Lillard's interview Q&A sounds like an excerpt from My Player mode in 2K12

I think people tend to get too attached to mock drafts. They see a certain group of players listed at a certain range for a long time, then when that starts to change close to the draft, people start to complain that some players being taken too early. In reality, the guys picking have a lot more information on these players then about 90% of the sports writers making these internet mock drafts. So I'd caution against crying foul when you hear about a guy like Lillard being take at #6. Both Harden and Westbrook were considered similar reaches when the Thunder took them in their respective drafts. You just never know.

He lost his right ring finger never had it with his time with the blazers...that why he never went right. He was the only player I saw being a Westbrook type.

Huh, never noticed that. I thought Gerald Green was the only player to have 9 fingers.
