I was scared...

When Bayless missed that first free throw I thought he might be the only Blazer not to score!

Would have been nice to see him get one of those three dunk attempts, oh well.

In case anyone was wondering, the last 40+ point victory we had was March 7, 1999 against Houston. We won 111-71, and our leading scorer was Rider with 21. In fact, Rider out scored, out rebounded and out blocked Hakeem that night, which may have been the only time as a starter Hakeem ever had a SG do that to him.

It has been a long road through the wilderness, Blazers fans, but it appears like we may be finally arriving to civilization.

my mind is blown after that game, that has to be the most uninspired basketball ive seen from an opponent honestly.

What a great game for us. Six players in double figures, all players scored. Sergio should not have taken that three with 11 seconds left, bad form. I am sad that most of the nation probably got just their second look at Derrick Rose as that is obviously not the real him.

Oden 11/10/3 in just 17 minutes. He will be super fresh for Hawes/Miller on Friday. I am happy.

That was something miles above exhilarating. It was like all my hopes and dreams were packaged into one game, and they put it on ESPN.

Quite a few people considered Chicago the better team with the brighter future. We handed each and every one of them their asses with a bow on top.

I don't recall Portland ever being blown out like that, but I'm sure Bulls fans feel as bad as I feel good about the effort displayed tonight. It was tangible and it was wonderful. THAT's how you play a full four quarters.

I really really like Nate's plan to get the ball out of Rose's hands. They denied him the ball on almost after almost every made basket was a great basketball move. It was extremely effective.

It was a nice dunk contest.

That was like Portland being blown out by 60+ in Indiana a few years ago. Can't really draw much from the game other than the Bulls quit. I'm glad the Blazers got a blow out.

First of all, I want to point out that this Bulls team is much better than they played tonight. I see a lot in this team and a few years down the road, they'll be a quality team. They still have some rough patches to sort out, but right now, they still have a very strong chance to make the playoffs in the east. Once Derrick Rose shows more consistency, there's no way opposing teams stop him.

As for the Blazers, it was very nice to see them get a win like this, especially following such a tough loss. It feels like yesterday is long gone!

Oden is starting to develop chemistry with this team and he's looking much better with every passing game.

It's obviously too much to expect a 42 point win every night, but I'm hoping that following this win, the Blazers can continue their success on the road. They'll definitely need to bring it on VS Sacramento and PHX at home, two teams that we've had trouble against on the road recently. The addition of Oden definitely changes the outlook though.

Huh? Who considers Chicago to be a better team?? Maybe a few Bulls fans, but the league knows Portland is the up and coming force in the league, not Chicago. And I do remember worse losses than this. In the late 90's we lost to Indiana by something like 65 points.

And by the way...I CALLED THE BLOW OUT! 8-)

an unmentioned aspect of the game was how hard Blake worked at defending Rose. He did a real good job and simply knocked Rose off his stride.

Whoooot, what a game. I loved it. Again, Travis did a nice job on D.
"It was good for me to finally be home,'' Oden said. "Just to be home and finally have my people see me play was great.''

Blake did do an excellent job. I also hope he is okay after that nasty camera-to-head collision in which the Blazers showed us him streaming blood.

At least that led to Mojo's.. infamous squirting comment involving Blake's new nickname.

Yes, I would say Blake went hard to the hole and messed the floor with his body fluid.

Outlaw got #1 on ESPNs top 10 plays of the night. the pass from Sergio and the reverse dunk from behind the hoop. I was surprised we didnt see the Sergio to Rudy alley oop though.. Great game, glad it got our differential up, we FINALLY blew a team out (it had to have been like 4 years), and the defense is looking much much better.
