Great trade - not a huge differential between pick 11 and 16. Plus we get a future FRP and two SRPs.

Of course you still need to make a good pick at 16.

In general, I think this is good value for Portland.

I'm disappointed in the sense that Noa and Bryant (particularly Noa) were great options on the table, and I really wanted either of them.

But I'll give kudos that Cronin got good value here.

Talk to Chicago about 16 to cancel our obligation or try to offload Grant perhaps?

Well now I hope I'm wrong but wish we had just taken him at 11.

All depends on what 16 brings.

So ATL has been linked to Newell and reports are Beringer has really climbed up boards

Hate seeing OKC & SA picking before POR

If its one of the picks from the Desmond Bane trade, it's an unprotected FRP in 2028

Likely won't matter for the Magic pick will be in the 20's

CHI gets Buzelis and now Noa - my 2 guys the last 2 drafts who I saw as the biggest swings for the fences w/ the highest ceilings (Outside the top guys).

It's unprotected. From the Desmond Bane trade. Obviously Orlando should be a good team in 2028, so the pick is probably #22 or so. But there's always upside with an unprotected pick (injuries happen/personalities blow up).

Wow - NO gave up a UNP FRP to move up from 23 to 13. I would hope the pick we got is top-4 at most.

Return to Portland Trail Blazers
