Six Blazers in double figures scoring tonight (Roy had 20, the most on the team) and two more with nine points.

THAT is Blazers basketball.

Great game, glad it got our differential up, we FINALLY blew a team out (it had to have been like 4 years), and the defense is looking much much better.

Did they put his picture up instead of Bo Outlaw's?

Everything went right from wire to wire. That almost never happens. The energy was pretty low in the RG tonight, but the Blazers were up 20 before many fans got settled into their seats, there was never a hint of tension.

Overall, it feels like it has been a decade since the Blazers won a game easily. <sigh of relief>

yes I did say that.

its way easier hitting them in a 40 pt blowout lol... he hasnt hit them all season, its about time he made some.. the law of averages basically had to show up eventually

hopefully he gets confidence though and finally makes them in close games now.

and by the way, the reason for me being so frustrated with him about it is because thats supposed to be his bread and butter you know? so if he isnt doing that well... well yeah you get the drift. lol

Rip city? More like dunk city.

Almost every Blazer played great tonight. Total team effort as the cliche goes.

There was so much about this game that just wowed me.

Blake actually drove to the hole and set up team mates for open dunks. That's really been one of my biggest complaints about him. And as others have said, the team defense on Rose was out standing, but Blake was the front man.

On a side note, I was impressed with the way Nate had LMA apply full court pressure. LMA is reportedly one of the fastest players on the team baseline to baseline. So I thought that was a brilliant move to have him help slow down Chicago's ball handlers. By the time they got the ball into play, many times the clock was already run down quite a bit.

Also, I loved the way the offense looked when Sergio was out there. I didn't care for his 6 turn-overs, but all in all, I thought he had his best game in quite some time.
Rip City, baby!!!!

I'm not sure what that means exactly, but that sounds like a better nickname for Sergio than Spanish Chocolate.

Wow. Tivoed the game (I am on the East Coast and get up early), and watched the first quarter before going to work Quick impression from watching Oden work Noah; did Portland schedule a WNBA team?

The box score fractures me. 25-19-6 from the center position ...

6 turnovers is high but 3 of those came very late as he was trying some highlight reel stuff with Bayless. Also, one of them was when he gave the ball to the ref at the end of the game but time hadn't quite run out. Silly ref stopped the game with .3 seconds left and had the Bulls inbound. As for legit flow of offense, he really had about 3 turnovers which with 9 assists is very sold.

Now, I tried not to get too excited because Chicago is just a terrible, terrible basketball team with no idea what they're doing out there, and Ben Gordon only makes things worse, but seriously, that was one of the most complete dismantlings I've ever seen. Portland outright dominated that game. I haven't checked box scores, but points in the paint differential had to HUGE. Seemed like every time down Portland was dunking, and on the other end, Chicago was getting swatted whenever they got within 10 feet of the cup.

Very impressed.

well of course i'm excited about oden starting to be what we all want him to be and that the blazers blew this bulls team completely!!!

so, how did bayless look?

and oden with those numbers in under 20mins!!! wow... but about oden, should we get carried away already and forget how he was 2 weeks ago?

and oden is now officially in 4th place with block shot average...

Bayless looked like he was thinking too much....but that is to be expected from a young sg trying to learn the pg position

my concern was the atrocious on the ball defense of travis ... it's actually getting worse imo

Just for the sake of comparison (and obviously it was two completely different types of games) here is the Lakers - Bulls boxscore from the night before.
