Someone from No ceilings was at the clutch pro day in LA, and they said he was terrible.. They're all laughing at us. Everyone.

Apparently BK really wanted him at 36. That was pretty solid info from scouts they got.

Ok, so Cronin has to be fired i guess right?

This has to be the nail in the coffin for this bozo.

Perhaps Cronin will leverage that for two of the Brooklyn picks?

Yang has legit size, but he's not really "freakishly" big. Clingan's standing reach and wingspan are 5 inches longer.

He has skill, and he'll have to really rely on it to succeed in the NBA. His scouting report does read very similar to Jokic's.

Hopefully he cam become a Marc Gasol type player.

I won’t even get into what I’m hearing. Yang at 16 is an embarrassment of epic proportions. I can’t remember the last time I was this disappointed with a pick. Awful.

I watch this guy a lot and he was super high on him. Another youtube scout like Schmitz. Had him 10-15 on his board which is crazy.

Pretty detailed breakdown.

I am betting this has to do with elevating the sale amount of the team.

That and/or we completely keyed on Demin, he went off the board and we just threw a dart at our player board.

His handle is pretty legit. His upside is PDX era Sabonis / Divac IMO.

I’m sorta drunk tho so might be just looking at it with highball half full glasses.

Honestly he actually looks to move better than I expected, but I also acknowledge it's the CBA so the talent level he's facing is much lower overall.

We are precariously short on shooting though, so that's probably a bigger concern moving forward than whatever this.. unique.. pick was.

I don't give two **** about draft grades, truly.

This does feel like a "we're probably getting fired in a year, so lets get nuts and swing as hard as possible" kind of pick. Obviously not what fans want, but at least it was interesting lmao.

Big reach is particularly important for a Centre isn't it? Helps with blocks and rebounds. Could bode well!

These are freaking highlight videos though

the reality is he averaged 3.5 assists vs 3.3 turnovers over 96 games in the CBA. Those are really bad passing numbers. In other words, he's a willing passer but he's not that consistently good at it. That's especially true considering the competition level. He's a turnover waiting to happen against NBA quickness, reaction, and anticipation

I do hope this kid works out. Would love to see the entire league and myself have to eat crow on him. Seems like a very good dude.

Must have made some impressions at the draft camp - saw WCJ and a few others give him a hug.

Can you believe that some of us actually rooted for this team to lose so we could draft Yang? I’m on the east coast I’m going to bed… I miss drinking
