I'll vote Porter
I just loved the way he played on both ends of the floor. Great and clutch three point shooter and a very solid PG. And he was a virtual iron man in his 1st 9 seasons as a Blazer only missing 14 games

Maurice Lucas Already given reasons, believe he should have been #3
I never thought I’d lead the NBA in rebounding, but I got a lot of help from my team-mates – they did a lot of missing.

Sabonis

did I leave anybody out?
I'm thinking maybe Porter, but that isn't my vote yet
You are missing Rod Strickland and Lionel Hollins. And, you need to remove the stat stuffing losers Sidney Wicks and Geoff Petrie. A dozen players that played winning basketball should be on the list ahead of Wicks and Petrie.
I think you are seriously underestimating how good a player Petrie was on a vey bad Blazer team. Roy played 120 games less than Petrie, to reach the same amount of points, Roy would have had to average 29.9 ppg over those 120 games to equal Petrie's point total.
G MPG FG FGA FG/% 2PM 2PA 2P% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST/G SPG PPG Tot P

Re: Greatest Blazers Ever: Vote for #4
BTW Roy's PPG INCLUDE 3 point field goals, Petrie had no such category, or his point total would have been even higher

Terry Porter
This is my first vote that takes longevity into account, although he had some pretty spectacular individual seasons. He also is 4th on my list when I think of "Face Of The Franchise" type players.
FWIW, I think at this point serious arguments could be made for lots of players: Lucas, LA, Sheed, Lillard, Strickland etc...

Vote Sabonis
He was the backbone of our late 90s teams, and they fell apart without him. He could make Shaq work even when he was old as dirt and broken down. His advanced stats are great too.

Voting Terry Porter. Same reasons as #3. Leader, Longevity. Not a superstar, but 2nd best player and leader of the best extended run in franchise history.

Re: Greatest Blazers Ever: Vote for #4
Sticking with Terry Porter.
Other Blazers may have peaked higher (Lucas and Sheed, perhaps), but Porter was a worthy All-Star himself who I felt was underrated on those late 80s/early 90s Blazer teams. Great shooter and a very good scorer, he was halfway between the traditional PG and the score-first PGs we have today, and he did it brilliantly for a long time. His playoff resume is pretty impressive, too. I don't think it's a coincidence that he's second in Win Shares and VORP - I think he's clearly the 2nd best guy of what I think of as the strongest (most sustainably strong, anyway) era of Blazer basketball.
I'm a big fan of him playing 77+ games in each of his first 9 seasons, as well. A consistently reliable source of very good/excellent play over a long period of time who raised his game in the playoffs? That's the kind of guy I value a lot.

Re: Greatest Blazers Ever: Vote for #4
Rather surprisingly, we don't have a run-off this time! Terry Porter gets the nod.
Votes:
Terry Porter (10): d-train, Masterfully, Agenda42, DavidSterned, Fitz303, DaVoiceMaster, Wizenheimer, zzaj, a_sensei, Moonbeam
Rasheed Wallace (2): Brandon-Clyde, red_power (Soulyss would go here too, and if it made a difference, I'd prompt for a reason, but I'm going to keep the strict rule of requiring a short justification)
Maurice Lucas (2): Run PDX, TheEnforcer20
Arvydas Sabonis (2): Norm2953, SalemStoner
LaMarcus Aldridge (1): JasonStern

Porter is a beloved former Blazer. Once the momentum started, he is an easy guy to vote for.
