I suspect he will be the subject of a trivia question with husband performance tonight. While not the unlikeliest of players to record a 5x5, I doubt he would come to mind when people think for players who recorded a 5x5. And what an epic performance it was! This was beyond Nurk Fever: it was Nurk Domination!

Nice game by Nurk! As nice as his stat line is it doesn’t tell the whole story. He was dominant. One of the best games I’ve seen from a Blazers center.

While Nurk deserves the most praise, Harkless was huge too down the stretch with his D! Lillard had some timely buckets as well. Great comeback win!

It's been explained to you multiple times by several posters. Since you never actually refute those points, I assume you just ignore them in favor of your impressions.

Nurk is being treated better by the Blazers than he was by his previous team. Nurk has more usage than over 80% of the league's bigs. Nurk has a greater turnover rates than over 60% or more othe bigs. I am old enough to have seen nearly all the great centers in the NBA, excepting Mikan. Nurk is not yet close to those ranks, despite your protestations to the contrary.

Yes.... Nurkic looks like he's in the midst of taking "the leap" this year, from solid to fringe all-star. He's locked up in a great contract while improving noticeably as well. Moving CJ to balance some things out would be fantastic, won't happen, but it would be a good move to bring in a scoring forward for CJ+something (depending on who that player is).

BTW, Nurk had a great game tonight. I guess it would have been even better if Stotts didn't abuse his great talent.

How is Nurk not playing the best basketball of his career? They are moving the offense throught the high post when he's in and he's been amazing playing cat and mouse with Lillard.... Could you be more specific on exactly how you think they are misusing him?

Nurk was incredible...Harkless made a bunch of big little plays....Curry was on fire

and Dame was a lost cause....until it counted

and the Kings played like a young team

I thought I heard Kevin and Lamar say he had the flu, Dame that is, but I might've been mistaken.

Unpopular opinion, but if the Blazers put in a littlen more effort during regulation, the games wouldn't go to overtime and the players could go home earlier.

When Nurkic plays like this, the Blazers hit an entire level above their normal play. I am EXTREMELY impressed by Nurkics play in the last 5ish games or so. Lillard is also going out of his way to get Nurkic touches which seems to reap benefits in the later parts of the game.

Excellent win, the Kings are not a joke of a team like they used to be and this game took some major gumption by the Blazers to come back from 9 down with 3 minutes to go to win this. Especially with how easily the Blazers were cruising to a big lead in the first half..

Blazers maintain their status of winning every game when leading after 3 quarters. I am baffled at anyone that thinks that Nurk is being misused here, he loves being on this team and really loves Damian Lillard Nurkic is VERY happy here period.

And just like that we're up to 5th spot. Is anyone else surprised about the top 7-8 teams starting to separate themselves from the rest of the west potentially? Early in the year it looked liked there could be 9 50 win teams although 8 50 win teams and 2 .500 + teams would still be a very compelling case for rearranging the east/west playoff format
