This was actually game 9....just so we're not off by one the rest of the year.

Dad blast it. I meant to put 9.

This team has been very good about 10 of the past 12 quarters. We blew it against Chicago, but even then we had two great quarters. Once Covington and DJJ revert to the mean on offense, we should be looking pretty good.
Quietly CJ is playing the best ball of his career. The main difference, he is getting more good 3PT looks. Anyone who has seen his advanced metrics knows that CJ is an elite catch/shoot player. I hope he keeps that 3PT attempt number above 10 the entire season, thats where he is best, as long as they are (mostly) C/S opportunities.
It seems that Melo is slowly concentrating on shooting 3's rather than the scary early reversion to his 2010 era mid-ranged-iso play.
Rodney still looks like the walking dead. Its sad. Hope he can become at least a playable 8th man type at some point this season.
And all the white Kanter is averaging near a double double in under 20mins w/ nearly 4 ORPG. Thats 4 free possessions, just absolutely huge. Love this guy when the role is right, and its certainly right here.

Solid game here, Kings while probably not a playoff team will likely be in the hunt for a playoff spot. I could see them finishing 9th or 10th pretty easily.
I also am pretty impressed that we blew them out when Lillard had a pretty meh game overall. This was not the case last season it felt like any game Lillard didn't explode was 95% of the time a loss.
