What was up with Jokic and Kanter?


I think they just got under each others skin. Neither has a history really, both seem to be great dudes off the floor. Just seems like some rough and tumble basketball.

I think the way Kanter plays really rubs a lot of players the wrong way, he loves to get in there and push and bump to get rebounds. You also have to factor in that playoff series back in 2019, that series might have built some bad blood between Kanter+Jokic.

There was definitely some blood this game.

I actually noticed Jokic was bleeding about 5 game minutes before they stopped play and couldn't believe no one noticed or said anything until Kanter had blood on his jersey.
