Wait for it on the trade board when people begin adding him in as a throw in on Blazer trades

This is what has annoyed me about all the Simmons for CJ ****. He's not 6 first round picks worse than Simmons. He's barely 2. Simmons for CJ alone is a fair trade imo. One of the main reasons people think it's not a fair trade is cause CJ hasn't made an ASG. People compare CJ and Simmons by age and accolades. Skill... it'sssss not that far off.... CJ would have been an amazing fit with Philly next to Embiid and they would have had none of this mess...

Really, I think a straight swap is a fair deal even when trying to look at it objectively. I could have been ok with a few FRP's too, but man... it would have been an overpay for all the other crap that comes with Ben Simmons.

Dare I say... all the camp/preseason "this guy is gonna have a big year" yearly rerun story, this year about Little... may actually be right? *fingers crossed*

He's looking like the energy player off the bench the Blazers haven't had for awhile now.

Part of it is an eastern major media market player vs a small market west coast player. Lots of attention is given Simmons for every good game he has but CJ needs an extraordinary game to get attention. If Simmons had played his entire career in Portland and put up similar numbers he would not be viewed as highly as a player than he is now.

I mean CJ was showing some incredible stats before he got injured last year, I think if he would have kept that up he would have been a strong contender for an all-star spot. Especially if the Blazers were a top 5 record in the West as the all-star game approached.

CJ has honed his game as the years have gone on and you can tell.

Gotta feel happy for Dennis Smith Jr making the team and getting some actually meaningful minutes before the floodgates opened. He played well, too!

Solid effort by the blazers, would not have thought we’d destroy the suns like this

I'm somewhat afraid of inviting bad luck but didn't Simmons and Little begin looking like solid NBA players?
That's quite encouraging though.

Simons has improved significantly

Little just needed minutes to show what he can do.

If Nance and Zeller do their thing we are going to be very dangerous this year

PG: Dame/Simons
SG: CJ/Little
SF: Powell/Little
PF: Covington/Nance
C: Nurk/Zeller

McLemore, Snell and DSJ can all play useful minutes. That Leaves GB3 (future NBA starter), Elleby (future GSW G league captain), Blevins (the Lillard family Mascot) and Watford (Excellent utility prospect with offensive upside).
So I have us 12 deep.

Stat of the game for me is that we blew out the Suns and Dame only played 24 minutes and CJ 30, don't expect that too often however I hope we can keep Dame and CJ's minutes down a decent bit from previous years, most enjoyable Blazer game I have watched in a long time - I really like how much more they are trying to push the pace!

Not sure about little at the 2 & powell at the 3 is still not great imo but otherwise looks solid.

Little is no more a guard than Travis Outlaw was.

I think they could get away with playing Little at SG if they had a good ball handler at one of the forward position. Little would be a sane version of Bonzi Wells

I will be amazed and thrilled if Little becomes half the player Wells was.

Achilles heel for this team will be at the 5 for the injury record for Nurk/Zeller suggest both will go down
at some point and we won't have a Enes Kanter around to soak up minutes.

Little is closer to a PF than a SG. The backup for both guard spots should be Simons, who is finally showing something more than hitting 3's
