The Treadmill continues for now, and the blame starts at the top with Jody. Dame is the greatest shooter Portland has ever seen without a question in my mind, but he is an average PG at best. I don't expect any change in TEAM success, until Dame asks out, or plays out the remainder of his contract. More of the same.

If Lillard is average, I wish we had a full team of average players. Average players dont average 28 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds per game. Sure, his defense is average and his percentages could be a bit higher. Perhaps if he had better players around him, those percentages would be higher. Simons and Grant started the year great, but have been inconsistent since.
