Nice run here for Portland! Love seeing Shaedon be aggressive. Toumani looks like a keeper, too.

I believe that the team has their first lead of the season.

Despite looking a little uninterested in pre-season the mystery man tonight is really playing damn well.

Good to see shaedon pouring it on. Not sure we will be able to roll him off the bench after these 6 weeks if he looks anything like late last season

Grant doesn't even deserve that free point after this absolute sorry effort

I’ll say it again…
I gave Chauncey the benefit of the doubt because he’s been a tank commander in an awkward situation with a win-now star…but this is pitiful.

The Blazers look completely disorganized on both ends of the ball but ESPECIALLY on defense, which is what is supposed to be his calling card. The lack of rotational awareness…why he didn’t challenge that obvious missed call on the Grant offensive foul. Maybe he doesn’t know the new challenge rules. Honestly, that would not surprise me in the least.

Young players need structure. This ain’t it. Chauncey needs to be gone. Brutal.

Sharpe looks pretty handily like our best piece at the moment

Scoot defiantly giving me Westbrook vibes. I remember Westbrook during his rookie year. Same silly mistakes, couldn't shoot outside of the paint and didn't know how to use his speed. I also recall Andre Miller carving him up each time they faced each other. I mean, Miller totally was toying with Westbrook.

The Thunder was so bad that year that they got the 3rd overall pick and got James Harden and used the 24th pick to get Serge Ibaka and then they turned a corner by making the playoffs that following season.

Improvement over game one but still a lot of work to do.

Shaedon looks so good for a second year player.

Competitive losses!

I am not worried about Scoot, he is 19 and a mold of De'Aaron Fox who average 8ppg and 4 asts his first month and played wildly. Sharpe is looking like a stud he is going to have a great year. Sad to see Ant injured he would be playing crazy good right now maybe a 30 point game tonight if healthy.

We are gonna stink this year which is good Holland and Sarr are great pieces to pick up along with other wings. I still say we will have to choose who we keep between Ant and Scoot it just doesn't make sense to keep both. I am leaning towards a Sharpe and Ant backcourt, wouldn't even be a problem if Jordan drafted Scoot and left us Miller who'd be perfect with Sharpe and Ant. Not too disappointed as I am high on Scoot as well just hope we get a good wing next draft cause wings make contenders not guards.

Shaedon was very good tonight. Ayton had a much better game as well.

Scoot looks raw but I think he’ll come along with the exposure - he’s got a great mindset and I imagine these struggles are going to help him learn how to adapt to the NBA.
