But what a stupid, stupid win. Proves nothing, gains nothing. Cronin not dealing the vets when it was appropriate is setting the franchise back by years. Instead of a ten year drop it’ll probably be 15+.

I think it's kind of funny how the clutch play of Simons is what won the game after you said that.
Yeah, you’re right. He’s the greatest clutch player of all time.
I am sure he’s going to lead us to a championship right after he gets us over .500……someday

So you conflated "one of the best" in the current NBA to "the greatest clutch players of all-time" type of gaslighting to make your point. Got it.
Your bias again is showing. Ant is good in clutch situations and has made multiple game winning shots in his career.
But just in case you decide to gaslight again, I still want him traded. Just give credit where credit is due. You seem to not want to do that when you have a bias.

I mean, ok? Congratulations, he won a meaningless basketball game?
Cronin, POR broadcasting, Simons' fans love to talk about how clutch the he is, but conveniently forget for every one time he has a game like this, he has 5-6 more where he is the exact opposite of clutch. We have seen it this year repeatedly already.
In the last 3 years, POR "best" player has lead then to records of
12 - 22 - 24/25
21 - 61 - 23/24
33 - 49 - 22/23 (w\Dame)

So now you're moving goal posts from individual play in clutch situations to team overall records and think that's a gotcha.
BTW, Simons is the 6th best player in the NBA in the clutch this season.

Simons sure was clutch tonight!
Being a good 1v1 player in the NBA lends itself to "clutch" situations, however it doesn't lend itself to winning basketball games

I never said I wanted to keep Simons. I was just saying that Cronin is correct when he says Simons is good in the clutch and Walton1one lost his **** over it saying it's not true.
