I doubt it, KD isn't gonna go from taking 19 shots a game and scoring 26-30 ppg to something less. Curry also has the ball in his hands whenever he wants. I would say Klay is the odd man out and is gonna average 17-19ppg next year. He could have a serious Bosh/ Love reaction to being the 3rd guy around. It doesn't help that he doesn't get to the line a lot either. I wouldn't be surprised if he averaged 15ppg tbh, but that's just me.

Man I don't pay much attention to top 100 lists cause they are intrinsically flawed in sports. However SI just put up the biggest mess of a top 100 list I have ever seen. Just a couple of Blazeristic examples involve Plumlee cracking the list but Crabbe Turner and Aminu being omitted.

Also Jae Crowder who is a slightly better version of Aminu was in the mid 50s a couple of players away from McCollum, again while Aminu didn't even crack the 100.

Batum, Danilo and Middleton are rated higher then McCollum and Horford, Wall, Lowry, Milsap and Deandre Jordan are higher than Dame. You can't write this stuff.

.

SI is rarely good with any of their lists

what was Plumlee...about 93rd, IIRC?

I'd say he was better then those other 3 Blazers

PER:

Mason Plumlee 17.2
Evan Turner 13.6
Al-Farouq Aminu 12.7
Allen Crabbe 12.2

TS%:

Allen Crabbe .572
Mason Plumlee .564
Al-Farouq Aminu .533
Evan Turner .513

FT Rate:

Mason Plumlee .648
Evan Turner .238
Al-Farouq Aminu .217
Allen Crabbe .167

Reb Rate:

Mason Plumlee 16.3
Al-Farouq Aminu 11.5
Evan Turner 9.3
Allen Crabbe 5.6

Assist Rate:

Evan Turner 23.9
Mason Plumlee 16.2
Al-Farouq Aminu 8.8
Allen Crabbe 7.2

Winshare/48:

Mason Plumlee .140
Allen Crabbe .098
Evan Turner .085
Al-Farouq Aminu .082

Defensive Box Plus/Minus:

Mason Plumlee 3.0
Evan Turner 1.3
Al-Farouq Aminu 0.7
Allen Crabbe -1.1

Box Plus/Minus:

Mason Plumlee 2.8
Al-Farouq Aminu 0.2
Evan Turner -0.7
Allen Crabbe -0.7

Value Over Replacement:

Mason Plumlee 2.5
Al-Farouq Aminu 1.3
Evan Turner 0.8
Allen Crabbe 0.7

sad thing is that the player who was at the bottom of 7 out of 9 categories is getting paid the most money

Also Jae Crowder who is a slightly better version of Aminu was in the mid 50s a couple of players away from McCollum, again while Aminu didn't even crack the 100.

Crowder is the better player, but that does seem a too-large gap considering that Aminu probably might not crack the next 20 or 30 after 100. East coast bias.

Batum, Danilo and Middleton are rated higher then McCollum

when Danilo is healthy he's a pretty good player, maybe the best of the four, but he's too injury prone and is rarely healthy. CJ and Middleton are really close in a lot of metrics, but Middleton is 6'8. That counts for something in BB. Batum is a swiss army knife with a lot of value as long as you don't expect him to be some kind of consistent scorer. He and Kemba Walker led Charlotte to a better record then Portland and defense does count for something

Horford, Wall, Lowry, Milsap and Deandre Jordan are higher than Dame.

yeah, that's silly, but again, I see a lot of east coast bias there

Meyers is technically the most accurate 7 footer of all time now given a min of 300 attempts.

Also I noticed he got better as a passer in the outlet particularly but never got around to check his passing numbers. Apparently he had 2.5 ast per36 last year.

I'll be honest, I'm probably most curious to see what Meyers is able to do this season more than anyone. I feel like I have a pretty good read on what everyone else on the roster except for Meyers.

I wish this thread was called something else. I still have no idea what NBENFANT means. That's not a word. You can't pronounce it. It's dumb. I wanna call it the NBA benefit thread. But that doesn't make sense. Who's dumb idea was it to call it this and what does it mean?? And does it have to be stickied? So the first thing you see at the top of the page is this confusing nonsensical word? It gets like 20 pages a season. Is BENFANT that important? Stupid. I hate you whoever thought of this. :noway: :nonono: :banghead: :x

It was originally created as "Not big enough news for a new thread". Then it got stickied and had the name shortened.

It's for any basketball stuff that you want to post but probably isn't new thread worthy

I know realize I didn't know what that meant either.

I'm getting tired of this fake drama the media is creating between Durant and Westbrook. Anyone know who created the narrative that they were best buds? I mean, being friendly with a teammate is one thing, but I never got the impression they were bro's outside of that.

I don't have a cool avatar image because Dame came home.

Chris Bosh is trying to make an NBA return, he'd be nice to have if even on limited minutes or something of that nature. Not sure how that'd work though financially.

Lillard's Twitter game is way stronger than a 4.

CB will only get a vet min if he signs this season with a team. That's fine with him considering the Heat will be still paying him his massive contract.

Whatever team signs him will be under major scrutiny for signing a guy who's got such a serious condition.
