Yea, I propose the Blazers get better at rebounding.

I also propose that someone put that interview on youtube.

Travis does good interviews because hes just himself, nothing fake.

He just has that country in him, haha. Dont change Travis!!

True. I liked that he decided to shoot over the defender, since they gave him space, even though what was working for him during the game was the drive. He made a good decision.

I watched the game, and then read this game thread...some negative nellies here...after all, there was never really any doubt!

I observed:

yes, nate should have played Pryzbilla more in this game. Maybe he should listen to Mike Rice for tactical advice. Mike might be the drunken uncle, but he does know some things about BB tactics.

Jack was terrible today on both ends of the floor...

on the other hand, sergio played inspired basketball. The shooting coach really needs to get with Sergio and teach him the benefits of having more arch on his shot. Sergio seemed to run out of gas at the end of his 2nd half run; is it true he's still a smoker?

LMA...after a good start to the season, he's really struggled since coming back from his foot problem. He's shooting poorly (and I believe his shooting hand is hurting too). Hopefully, he can regain his game...he isn't performing well in any aspect right now.

3 wins on this road trip which is one more then I thought they's get. Good job blazers.

I had to swing by the page real quick and just say "Outlaw Immortal, You the Man"...That was one hell of a game he played and that shot at the end was freaking money...I also wanted to give sergio props for the game he played..I know I'm probably the only one on here always criticising Sergio for this or that but today he really impressed the hell out of me and thought I should give some respect.......

I noticed down the final stretch, Roy made a conscious effort to get the ball to outlaw, even though smith picked it off a couple of times, but right now we are witnessing the education of travis outlaw in the art of clutch.

Also funny to see how Martell lights it up in the 3rd quarter. It's like LMA scores in the first and second, Martell in the 3rd and Travis+Roy in the 4th.

This game was awful. Game after game we come out like crap and game after game they come out on fire. And LaMarcus needs to get his s**t together. Our offense is becoming too predictable. We should have killed them. Of course if they hit their average on 3's and FT's we would have.

what are u talkin about that we should have killed them?
Atlanta is a very good team with a lot of talented players. they are young and hungry, jus like our blazers.
but u did get the part right about LaMarcus. He is too inconsistent. Somebody needs to tell him to put on more weight and get physical.

I think it is obvious LaMarcus has hit the sophmore slump to go along with the injury to his hand causing some problems. No reason to get down on him.

We're officially half way through the season and at 25-16 we are on pace to have a 50-32 record... Can you believe it?

Nope, that's why I predicted only 33 wins in the prediction thread. 8) I'd like to have been right, but winning games is so much better.

From what I understood, the championship blazer team was not really any superstars, but a team of contributors. While we have star hopes for Roy, Oden, and maybe LMA, I sort of see this team going in that direction.

In other words, this team is turning into the opposite of what it was when Zach was on the team.

Yea, I just noticed that. Then I also realized: It may actually take close to fifty wins to make it into the playoffs. Right now GS is on pace to get about 48, and they are in eighth place. Tough conference, some very worthy teams might not make it in.

They say that after a bad game, Aldridge works on his shot like a mad man.

That's great and all, but he really needs to work on his rebounding like a mad man.

This kid seriously needs lessons in boxing out and blocking off the cutter. Atlanta didn't have any bigs who were gobbling up the boards. It was just players who managed to get good position. Aldridge should have been able to rebound over any of them.
