We couldnt have gotten Bey or Wiseman. DET clearly Wiseman, not the SRP.

We could have gotten Wiseman but preferred 5 SRP. I am not sure I think thats silly, James has been a total dud. Like Nolan Smith of bigs, just tanks the entire team every time he hits the court. And he isnt cheap.

Dame has to be pissed.

5 seconds for payton is a deal I'm happy with actually. Opens up time for Sharpe and thybulle makes him redundant. Seconds are phenomenal trade assets, 5 is basically a late first or two

Disagree on the redundant part. Late in games when we need a stop, having multiple defenders is important.

Feeks like a definite roster downgrade to go from Hart and Payton to Cam, Thybulle, and Knox. So I guess this season doesn't matter and we're putting our eggs in the offseason basket?

Gotta get rid of Cronin if this is it. Not about not making any big swings, but not acquiring another big is criminal.

I don't know how to play purgatory in the 2023 draft, but this is it. And no, I'm not advocating trading Dame at all.

I've been saying this all year, he's Olshey 2.0. I can't find the words to articulate how disgusted I am by this front office.

I don't understand how you go into the second half of the season with an injured Nurk and Drew Eubanks. That's just baffling. Watford works at the five against small teams, but we do need an actual other big on the team for teams that.. have real bigmen.

Not bad at all in terms of return, but we got worse. Just another waste of a season. We have to tank the rest of the year right?

Dame is gonna request a trade this off-season, as he should. Why be loyal to a team that refuses to do anything to help you?

Might was well trade GPII. Chauncey was clueless how to use him, even though Steve Kerr showed him the way.

This looks like a low key tank move. GPII will once again thrive in GSW under Steve Kerr. They got better and we still suck. Given Chauncey's **** coaching, it doesn't really matter if we have Payton or not, or Thybulle, or anyone else. Chauncey won't be able to figure out how to use any of the new guys between now and the end of the season - or ever, for that matter.

Now that the deck chairs have been shuffled, can we please fire Chauncey and bring in a proven head coach like Quinn Snyder or Frank Vogel?

If Phil knight had bought the team, Durant would be a blazer right now.

He wouldn't be. Man, really, Portland could not beat the Mikal offer. I get you don't understand the value of Mikal Bridges, but Portland wasn't beating that offer.

Might as well keep Chaucey to lead the tank. But billups, Cronin and Allen need to go. Absolutely repugnant what they're doing to our fan base.

Team did not make any big mistakes and with the trades can likely indulge themselves in the buyout market
for they are no longer up against the tax line. Team presumably did not want to pay Wiseman his $12 million
contract for next season.

Quite possibly can afford to now pay Grant unless he chooses to sign elsewhere for less money.

This definitely feels like a sly tank trade deadline for Portland.

He's only got one year left on his deal and is 26. Simons has 3 and he's a better offensive player. Yes bridges is the better player but not to the degree you're making him out to be. You add Sharpe, and all the picks and I think that's on par with phoenix offer. You know Cronin never even made that call though, which is what I'm really upset about tbh.

Phil Knight would've gotten it done. Just do it is his kind of his motto...

You are worrisomely wrong. Mikal has a contract until 2026. The same year as Anfernee. He makes less money overall than Anfernee. He's player that has shown he is up there in the defensive player of the year category, has an improving self-creation game and shoots 39% from the three this year. He guards 1-4.

Again, with a contract that's cheaper than Anfernee.

Don't the Blazers still need to get rid of a player? They had one open roster position to begin with, sent out two players are are receiving 4 players in return. That doesn't add up.
