Pretty happy with getting CJ. He or Zeller is who I wanted.

Is it wrong that i'd like the Blazers to get their hands on Gobert?

I really hope Portland has a deal to get a mid first to draft either Adams or Gobert. We need size

No. Size matters in the NBA and Gobert is tall. Very tall

That Sixers trade has to rank in the top 10 in the worst trades in the history of the league when all is said and done. Holiday is a top 5 PG who is young and only improving. If I was philly's gm I wouldn't even deal Jrue for the top 2 picks in this draft, total waste of a deal.

They aren't even trying to hide the fact they're tanking. They're trying to full up on 2014 picks.

Nothing yet, but I have to imagine Portland is feverishly working to grab one of those guys.

I was expressing hope not knowledge. Sorry

Yeah, it could turn out to be a great deal for them in the long-run, but it's gonna HURT in the meantime.

I'm not sure, it depends entirely on where this team is headed. If we're trading LA it might make sense to trade wes in order to maximize what we could get in a package of young players and/or picks. If we plan to make this team a winner and try to keep LA here by winning then a guy like Gortat might be an option but I think I'd rather find a 3 way deal if we could land someone like Kufos somehow.

I have to imagine this is a no. They'll want to sign someone cheaper and not quite as good as they'll want McCollum getting minutes behind both PG and SG so he can be around 20ish minutes per game.

I think Webster is a realistic target for the LLE. He did a full round of interviews with every sports radio station just a few days ago in Portland. He loved living here and was signed for a small contract last year also and with Beal and Porter he may see the writing on the wall in Washington

I don't think Portland trades any of their guards because of the CJ pick.

Man I love the pick we made. This years Lillard as everyone says. Is it really bad to have two great shooters along with Aldridge with the potential that this guy can create for himself and others?

The pelicans aren't gonna be in number 1 territory when they have Jrue Holiday. The Pelicans are probably a 35 win team after the trade and they could get to 41 or 45 wins if Gordon somehow learns how to play again.
