Ah yes, going shorter is the answer. Who needs rebounds.....

I used to think Westbrook was the hardest player in the NBA. Now I think Bazemore is.

He should have been gone a year ago.

Every year CJ has a 10-15 game cold stretch. I'm just hoping he started it early this year rather than this being indicative of the entire year.

Hopefully Blazers can get it together soon enough to still be in the playoffs. They seem lazy to me where they are willing to do just enough to stay in a game and hope they win in the end rather than trying to win the game from the start.

You could see Lillard was going to miss that by a mile with all the arm he put into it.

Officiating has made the game almost unwatchable.

Will CJ get better? Sure...... that's irrelevant. He's getting paid too much to be a franchise sinking contract for 1/3 of the season. I don't want excuses for him, I'm done with them... and I'm sick of the petty excuses. You can't earn the kind of money he does and not only not play well, but actively DESTROY the team in the process for a full 1/3 of the season. He has regressed every year since 2016-17, and every year he looks worse than the last and shows ZERO improvement in any facet of his game. I for one have had enough. I'd had enough last year, and now I'm just nauseous with his play and the lack of accountability that he is allowed to play with.
He's been taking awful shots... he's not hitting open shots. He's got tunnel vision to an extreme extent. He doesn't play defense. He's not a good rebounder. Enough with the excuses, he's getting paid ffffffffffffffffffffffaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr too **** much to be out there playing like ass almost every game. Get this **** out of here and let's shift his salary to positions that don't have 3 capable players waiting in the wings.

This is a bad loss. They happen from time to time. No need to blow anything up yet.
Let's see how the team pulls together over the next few weeks. There are lots of new players or players in new roles, so the team may need time to develop its groove.
But yeah, bad loss.

Indeed, it was gutsy. They played with confidence and grit.

Real bad loss, I don't recognize more than 3 players on this team...
Blazers are in a rough stretch and it could get ugly being that we have a ton of road games to start out the season. Defenisvely we need to figure out some things. I think losing aminu/Harkless hurt us pretty massively but we need to get some chemistry as a team and hopefully find some new strengths with this new roster.

They lost to a G-League team. Pathetic.
I'm done with them for the season.

He's also shown himself to be a massive asset, with Game 7 against Denver being a prime example. I know he has his ups and downs, and I wouldn't be opposed to trading him for a return that makes sense.
Return to Portland Trail Blazers
