I'm really glad portland has Gary Trent Jr. There's a lot to like about how he plays.

And I believe will get better. The reports of his work ethic are impressive

He needs to start

At the very least when Melo is not playing well put in Trent earlier

Feels like any borderline foul is going Bostons way in this **** game.

Can't miss the layins, Nurk, especially at crunch time.

I wish he would dunk it more often, it feels like he loves to just tip it in and rarely ever dunks it even when he has a clear line to dunk.

I mean on the first shot sure maybe a lay in is better but when he gets the rebound and is right by the basket just dunk it.

Well I guess whiteside will be let go in free agency now  I’m glad we had this chance to play Nurk again healthy or else we might’ve done something stupid like ink Hasan up for 4 years 40 mil-80mil

I have no **** clue what the Blazers did to the refs, felt like any iffy foul went Bostons way in this game, and **** felt the same way in the last game.

There is no way in hell that the Blazers are fouling that much more than the other team.

I didn't love the end game strategy. Still a great come back. We win if Ariza plays.

I have been pondering using him in a sign and trade for Mason Plumlee. Denver would get a more physical player to act as a bodyguard for Jokic and Portland adds a backup center who could help be a secondary ballhandler off of the bench

C's with 34 FT's to the Blazers 16, even if we erase the last 6 as intentional fouls or something that is still 12 more.

big fta difference again--16 to 34. Seems impossible. Oops, great minds.

Yeah I admit that at times our bigs where a tad slow on rotations but not 12 free throws slow...

great fight and comeback, just a bit too much of a hole, GTJ is gamer and love what I am seeing from him. And Whiteside IMO should not be coming back

Big time comeback attempt. Annoyed by the inconsistency in the reffing we've seen in not only our two games but across the restart as a whole. League needs this to cleanup before the playoffs, regardless of who gets in. It is not enjoyable.

It seems like generally Portland gets bad calls throughout a game, but then they get some favorable ones in the 4th quarter. Maybe it has something to do with Portland's style of play, or maybe the NBA encourages it for some reason.

But yeah it seems ridiculous to have 2 games in a row of a 16+ free throw attempt disparity.

Wasn't Whiteside in when the run was made? Maybe two expensive for a backup big, but he is not just negatives.

we need to go 6-2 or 5-3 if we are lucky to force the play in. Let's hope for a 4 and 2 finish.
