OG and Ant are the same age, so it still fits with building for the future.

I understand the trade off of Simons creating for himself and OG’s 2 way impact, but I think moving Ant gives even more playing time to Sharpe who can create for himself and has more 2 way potential than Simons IMO. OG has been rumored to want more of a role offensively and he’s shown the ability to create for himself, not at the level Simons can but the upside of another long 2 way player is to tantalizing. It might be a pipe dream because I don’t see Masai trading a player like that for another guard unless there are multiple picks involved. Maybe Nurkic could be included along with some other players to get them the center they’ve wanted while moving Siakam and Barnes to more natural roles? Idk, but I suspect Cronin had the frame work of a deal in place at the draft but Masai wanted too much. We’ll see what our record is like at the deadline, is he worth giving up Sharpe for? Tough call.
