Even as a Blazer fan, I've dubbed him Yang "Broke-ic" Hansen, until further notice.

Seriously though...CBA doesn't have 3 in the key. I expect at least 7 fouls for Yang tonight.

Seriously tho, I'm kinda digging this weird sort of underground wave of excitement around him.

And small thing, but that first play, you even saw him visibly trying to direct plays with his hand movement on the court... There's some clear BBIQ there at the very least.

Yeah, even last year when I first noticed him his BBIQ was very apparent...I love that he immediately knew his mistake on that foul.

I'm liking this Remix tempo of the 1st quarter...

He's at least going to be a super entertaining player. Feels like one of those players who even through rough nights, you know he's going to give you a super fun play or two during the game.

It's crazy just watching the game how loud the crowd is for him in whats otherwise a dead crowd. Just a fun buzz.

Nice straight up defense without fouling there for Yang...

So far his BBIQ is covering up any glaring weaknesses in his lateral quickness. He knows how to play angles like late stage Arvydas...I'm impressed.

I know the speed will be faster and the players sharper and more experienced in the league, and he'll have to adjust there too, but I love what I'm seeing so far.

Camara going to the bench for Grant... cool :(

(I know this is just some rando graphic, but shows the problem of keeping Grant)

We should all riot if this is the starting lineup.

FWIW, I fully suspect Sharpe will be benched before Camara, but both options suck that either one of those guys is benched for a player who doesn't want to be here.

If Chauncey sits Shaedon over Grant, we should have a mass protest for his firing.

I would be furious.

I mean, it's pretty clear that's whats going to happen, at least to start the season.

The only chance it doesn't is if Shae has done some crazy defensive work and taking the spot unquestionably. If he leaves even a little daylight, it's Grant's spot at least to start the season.

I'm not even gonna be mad about it since it's what I'm expecting and why I've banged the drum of wanting him just off the roster by (almost) any means necessary.

That off the dribble layup starting from the 3PT line was legit special.

Yang has some ‘can’t teach’ feel man.

Donovan is looking as lean as he is tan. A nice summer to heal that knee that bugged him all season after the first month and to get the conditioning up. I'm really loving the idea of a Clingan-Yang rotation at the five with TimeLord as a mentor and big ball four.
