Thybulle being unusually aggressive on offense, that is not his strength, then back to back steals, that is his strength

Gobert is such a lumbering center, I think DC could end up being better

Welcome to the NBA Yang, nasty dunk by McDaniels

Good defense by POR, then Edwards hits the step back 3, then follows it up with a nice tip in over DC

Grant with the last 8pts for POR. Can he show up like this every night? I’m skeptical.

Too many 3pt attempts, take it to the rim\mid range Sharpe, then he puts it on the floor and draws a foul, good job

Grant is playing very aggressive tonight, can you do this every night?

Edwards takes his former teammate, Camara to the rim and has words afterwards lol

I think POR has played about as well as they can, and they’re only up by 4pts at halftime

Avdija is just a load when he drives to the rim, McDaniels is a good defender, but doesn’t nearly have the body weight to stop Avdija driving to the rim

Randle is very slithery in the post, he’s a better player than I thought he was

Where was all this aggression and effort by Grant these last few years? Took him getting benched to actually give a crap.

Strong drive by Sharpe, he didn’t convert, but I’d like to see him do that more often

Murray still can’t hit a 3pt to save his life

Sharpe got UP for that rebound

DC with a 3 to end the quarter

Offense has completely stagnated in the fourth. Even though we're still ahead, I'd be really surprised if we pulled this off.
Defense looks great though!

Clingan is doing so many things that aren't showing up in the box score.

It appears the ESPN live feed is 30 seconds ahead of the TV feed

Team lacks depth with Scoot out for they can't maintain their defense over 48 minutes

Can POR hold on?

POR got a favorable call there because that was not a charge

That was a really bad 3pt shot attempt by DC, but then he makes up for it, by getting the steal on the fast break

Edwards with a 3 and MIN has the lead

Too much flopping on defense by POR right now

Bad decision by holiday there to shoot the 3

Edwards putting on a show

Gobert saves Shannon there, 2nd year player, Shannon has looked very shaky tonight, and MIN is going to need him throughout the year if they want to go anywhere meaningful

Wow, Sharpe has been out this whole time comes back with only 32s left

That was not goaltending

Edwards with the dagger, and that is what having a star\franchise player means for a team, 41 on the night

Holiday, Avdija and Sharpe put up way too many bricks. Hard to win in the NBA when you shoot 30% on 42 3s. Meanwhile Minnesota shoots 50% from 3 and only won by 4 points. The Blazers just needed to have an average shooting night...

No big surprises tonight.

Competitive scrappy game.

Sharpe had some good looks he could not convert.

Clingan looks fit and lean, Yang needs a lot of work.

Grant responded to his benching with a solid game.

A lack of nba tier pg beyond Jrue is a real weakness. Wesley should only play in garbage time. MN has similar problems there if Conley continues to behold and Dillingham continues to disappoint.

Burning that challenge early is indefensible.

POR 31% from 3 tonight, MIN 50%

POR 40% FG, MIN 49%

POR only 11 fast break points, need to do better

Sharpe 3-9, Holiday 1-7, Avdija 0-6 from 3pt

Camara started off 2-2, ended up 2-5

Tough to overcome Sharpe 5-20, Avdija 6-16, Camara 3-9 & Holiday 5-15

Billups says they deserved the win the game, not when you shoot that bad you don’t

Dundon was at the game tonight,

Anyone else see what Edgecombe did tonight?

Listening to Grant answer repeated questions by reporters about how it is to come off the bench and looking at his expression is pretty telling and not in a good way

Disappointed, but not unhappy. Im with mojo and want one more lotto pick.

We heard how fantastic Sharpe is before the season, but I saw the same Sharpe offensively. Glad to see him try defensively, but he still loves the 3 way too much. Would have liked to see Yang one more time for a few minutes. Blazers really need Scoot and RW3 to return.

I have no problem with this team trying to take winning seriously, but if we end up in the lottery one more time I am down with that.

I want this team to try to get better though, and build on the second half of the last season where they were vastly improved.
