Yea Paul and Williams are going nowhere. Harris is probably the best we can do at pg unless KP has something in mind to trade up for Rose, which is probably just as likely as getting Paul or Williams.

No to Outlaw but I would let sergio go in a heartbeat for Harris. You say Harris isnt that good, but he's world's apart from Sergio. Sergio has really good moments, but Harris has really good seasons.

I think this trade has some potential to come back (as in "pretty much" dead) because it is the beginning of the Kidd wants out talk and it isn't the deadline yet.
I don't think New Jersey is going to get many better offers, and with how Dallas is playing right now (against Boston WITHOUT KG) you've got to wonder whether these teams are going to come back to the table. Maybe KP holding out is because he knows the other two are more desperate and he can get what he wants by waiting.

You guys just gotta do this trade.
Best future ever with Devin Harris, Roy, Oden. (I don't believe much in Aldridge)

Theres no way the Blazers are trading Outlaw.
I would love the deal if that were the case.. .
Harris would be great with Roy, no doubt.
But Pritchard wont trade Outlaw, im 97% sure of it!!

That comparison is really awful. It bases almost all the pro-Harris arguments on how much better Dallas is than New Jersey. Gee, you think? But while Kidd is NJ's best player, Harris is barely in Dallas's top 5. I mean they actually compared Kidd's Finals record '2-8' with Harris's '2-4' I mean come on!
I will come out and say it folks. Devan Harris is really over-rated. He's been in the league for four years and he's still mediocre and a quasi-starter. That ain't good enough. Statistically speaking he's not all that great, just another Kirk Heinrich whom you all wanted last year, and how's he doing now? Stay away from Harris.

IMO, I think we've seen what Martell can do. Sure he'll get better at driving to the hoop and using his athletecism, but we've essentially seen him.
On the other hand, I don't think we've come close to seeing Outlaw's full potential. He'll improve on 3's and ballhandling for sure, but every time I see him take his jumpshot and his elbow rises higher than the defenders head, I can't help but dream of the possibilities...
On top of that, Jones can fill in for Martell as far as a 3 pt threat goes.
So I could live with shipping Webster out, but Outlaw would be a tough one to swallow.

Pritchard holds all the cards right now because he is not the one looking for the trade but he is the one with all the young players full of potential with inexpensive contracts. He is also holding 4 draft picks, 3 players overseas and a #1 sitting on the bench in street clothes.
At some point, he will have to move some of these players but only when he gets a 'wow' deal. As long as he doesn't wait as long as Nash.... :wavefinger:
