We can all hope the Kings drafting at 4 will do what the Kings do every year at draft time which is
draft a lower tier player at 4

I've got mad props and respect for Daniels, who agreed to participate in a group workout in Portland
instead of the usual individual workout. It'll take Sharpe getting taken by one of the teams picking
ahead of Portland to get Daniels to Portland.

I can see why people like him. He's got all the qualities I like in a player, especially an international one. They always seem to have better fundamentals and feel for the game. I've seen a few scouting reports on him, but this one felt like the most assuring that he deserves a top 10 pick. I still think 7 is too high for him and would prefer Murray/Mathurin but I wouldn't be upset if he was the pick.

Well word on the street is the Raptors feel that the 7th pick and Josh Hart was not adequate enough to get OG. This could just be trying to pump up the kids value or something, but if that is the case I have a feeling the Raptors won't be trading him.

I'd much rather go after Dyson Daniels he looks like the ideal guard to pair with Simons in the future. **** the Raptors their management always seems to ask the world for their players.

OG has only played ~45 games per season over the last two seasons.

I would be hesitant to include Hart in there, let alone going above that. Hart offers fantastic value to the win-now theme (which is what we'd be positioning ourselves for if we're trading our #7 pick).

Please keep the pick Cronin.

The difference between Hart and OG isnt the 7th pick.

I mean, Hart is only like 2.25 years older than OG.

Grant should be the target and it shouldnt cost 7. Aaron Gordon was traded at the 2021 deadline for RJ Hampton and a 2025 FRP. Assuming Grant has slightly higher value he should cost around Keon, Nas and the 25 MIL FRP - even that may be too much.

The going price for excellent 4th options on EC's was set w/ that AG deal - Grant shouldnt cost substantially more (IE #7), and if he does we should walk away from the table. Its insane that people are rating Grant so much more valuable than AG, just nonsense.

I keep going back to Isaac instead of Grant. Already locked up. Better contract and could form a nice front court with Dyson and Nurkic.

Dominick Barlow is a pretty interesting SRP option.

Played for Overtime Elite - just turned 19, 6'9, 7'3 WS - seems like a nice PF prospect

Barlow is a good call.
What do you all think about #36 and small TPE for Chuma Okeke?

as a Raptor fan, I think that's a fair trade. asking for more is a little unrealistic.

I really wouldn't even have a problem with Bledsoe as a contract filler and 7.

That's a refreshing take to hear.

I'd be happy to trade #7 and Bledsoe for OG.

I think it's a tad greedy to expect to keep the TPE intact and use Bledsoe instead if getting OG. #7 straight across for OG seems fairer.

That said, I'm falling for the Dyson hype and might prefer to keep the pick.

I think it's interesting that other than the 3 bigs there is a similar late 1st or 2nd round guy who's comparable

I'll ad an edit with those comparisons later.
Examples:
Dyson Daniels = Dalen Terry
Ivey=Hardy
Murray=Jabari Walker
Ect ect.

Nice rim protector and finisher on the PNR, but more of a drop coverage bigman and not great at switching on the perimeter. Astounding reach but not very bouncy IMO. Watching Durens workout, he has much higher upside on both ends.

I think this answers the question of whether or not Schmitz is going to be involved with the draft before finishing up at ESPN.

I know he was there to support a friend at his fight, and he did some promo work with Footlocker too. Maybe he just wanted to check the place out too.

This has been MY GUY all along. I really want him as our second huge get in this year's draft, as I'm also dreaming of letting Houston solve our problems at the PF at the very same time, at the cost of Dame.

(jingle playing) - Like Clyde(not Mike)... want to be like Clyde.

I think Portland would take Duren over Williams for he was in Portland this week for workout while
there is no sign Williams is coming.

Interesting Portland worked out Griffin.
