I'm surprised that the Blazers aren't more active on the trade front. NeO has constantly stated that he needs to acquire more assets.

Ugh, that irritates me to no end.

All they gave up was the #46 and cash. :banghead:

Jonathan Givony ‏@DraftExpress 1m
The Denver Nuggets take Rudy Gobert at #27, and have traded him to the Utah Jazz. According to @nuggetsnews, its for the #46 pick and cash.

That's a trade the Blazer's could easily have made...grrr

I think at this point we may just try and move up to very beginning of 2nd and don't want to have the cap holds

Why bother though? What's there that's worth making a move for at this point? Glen Rice Jr maybe?

Ugh, I hope that's not to Portland at this point. I don't see anyone else worth having to give guaranteed money to at this point.

I say at this point just keep 39 and 40 and take 2 of: Goodwin, Muscala, Wolters, Carmichael, Kazemi

Then trade 45 for 2 future 2nd's

Not an inspiring draft night for there seems to be all sorts of guys out there that
we could get. It makes you wonder if we will be sellers instead of buyers for we
really don't need three second round picks and might just deal them away for
cash or future second round picks.

Return to Portland Trail Blazers
