Suns taking Archie Goodwin at 29.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Wow I can't help but feel Portland is missing out big-time with these draft trades.

Maybe the Blazers just felt none of these guys in the 20's were worth the guaranteed money. Can't necessarily fault them for that with the perceived weakness of this draft.

Since he slipped and that pick was easily get-able I can only assume Gobert was MUCH more raw in than his videos show. Looks like the Blazers are going to try and replace Hickson's production plus upgrade the inside through free agency...I am not convinced that is going to work.

Blazers had a chance to add very low cost upgrade (imo) to their bench with figuring a way into 20s picks. As it stands now they won't have enough capspace to sign a starter C and fill out the bench IMO.

At least Gobert would have given us some back-up at Centre. Even if he only got 10 mpg, he would do a job for us. Who do we have at Centre now, outside of Meyers Leonard?

Hopefully we can draft 1 or 2 older more NBA ready Centres in the second round.

I thought Goodwin could be a big steal in this draft. Devostated we missed out on him.

Just checked the draft. Top 10 was predictable but went in a little different order than I thought. However, after 10 this draft has been weird. Several projected 2ed rounders going in the mid first.

Do think we should try and get a big man out of the late 1st, early 2ed. Maybe Olshey has a target in mind, apparently its not Gobert or Dieng, lets hope it's Withey!

I hate it that twitter is reporting Memphis is getting Kosta Koufas for Darrell Arthur
and the 55th pick. Are they awake in the Blazer draft room?

I imagine they are since they aren't making trades for mediocre centers like Kosta and Gorat, for which I am very grateful.

The Blazers must have some kind of trade in the works to sit on their hands like this.

Garnett just waived his no trade clause and the Nets became the most expensive 49 win team of all time
