for anyone wanting the tldr,

Blazers aren't interested in trading 3 for Pascal or OG and just doesn't covet either guy that much.

Blazers aren't interested in Zach LaVine, he's not a target.

Same for KAT, neither Wolves or Blazers are interested in KAT for 3 from either side.

Players the Blazers are targeting are Adebayo or Paul George.

In many calls right now, teams are demanding Sharpe along with 3 and Simons to get these higher-level guys, particularly in the Adebayo deal.

Still not clear what the situation is really with Zion. Pelicans haven't made any formal offer for 3 yet, and no one will probably know until Portland is on the clock. Sources for Yahoo Sports are still saying that Miller is going to be the Hornets pick and Scoot will be available at 3.

I don't know if this is true or not but I will lol if it's just a middle finger to Pat Riley to try to cause some disord.

But I do think Miami fans have been the most respectful re: Dame and approaching us so I don't wish them any ill will at all.

Some Nets fans however..

I'm reading this as that other teams are seeing Portland is getting down to the wire here and are trying to squeeze them for all they can. They figure Portland is in a desperate spot, so we're going to get 1.50 on the dollar or it'll force Dame to the open market.

My guess is Portland and Chicago already have something agreed to in order for them to unlock their future FRPs, so they're probably trying to put together some huge - here's 7 FRPs for your guy kind of deal.

I think George has to include something coming back. His injury concerns are legitimate.

I don't believe anything, at all, that's being tweeted or blogged right now...not a damn thing

all these talking heads and bloviators are either recycling weeks old malarkey or acting as stenographers for manipulative NBA front offices or lying agents. There are 30 fast flowing rivers of manure pouring out of NBA front offices; tide-pools of BS from agents and Woj wannabe's. And the so called nba experts that are trying to sell that they are connected and in the know are just dipping their gourds in all the free flowing fertilizer and pouring it onto twitter or recycling it when they get their fat-faces on youtube or a podcast

it has never been this bad

Oh yeah this is all about smoke from front offices, talking heads getting favors to do this for front offices, as well as social media just taking it up to a whole new damn level.

I really don't know what is going to happen. I rarely get my druthers and way too often am disappointed in results. I don't want Dame traded; he may be. I don't want Portland to trade the pick; they may. I wanted Olshey fired and CJ traded in 2015. It only took 7 years. So what do I know

I do know this: if you hop on the schizophrenic emotional roller coaster that careens up and over every new wave of tweets, recycled speculation, and outright BS flooding over the landscape now, you're in for a real unpleasant ride over the next 56 hours

Just more mindless chatter for Bam/Dame still doesn't beat the Nuggets/Suns

Just draft whoever is there at 3. Portland's tanking efforts has given us Sharpe and whoever
is the choice at 3. Whether they like it or not, that's the start of a solid rebuild for its the
first real keepers for Portland since Dame/CJ were taken 10 years ago.

Interesting that Gary Trent opted in with Raptors for 23/24 at about 18.5 mil

I have to imagine his agent was telling him his market wasn’t hot. He’s probably only work the MLE rn, so maybe he was hoping that he can boost that with one really good year in Toronto.

I am surprised to see reports of the Blazers going after Bam it seems like to Miami he is untouchable. Now if Bam is saying he wants to be traded maybe that gives more fire to these reports, but we haven't heard Bam say anything about that.

I will point out many of these supposed #3 for player deals do have to include either Simons or basically 5 players to match salary. So again we can't really trade #3 for Siakim even if both teams felt that was a fair offer. Toronto has also been reported as being horrendous to deal with, since their GM seems to think that every player they have is worth two or three times the value.

I read a funny comment about Toronto as some guy acting like his 2003 PT Cruiser was worth a ton type of situation.

the T&T board is a cesspool of "let's rip-off Portland" drivel lately

there's a trade there that has Portland trading Ant, Nurkic, the 23rd pick plus Portland's 2024, 2026, & 2028 picks, UNPROTECTED, and the 2030 pick, top-4 protected....for the injury magnet known as Paul George

and a moderator there said Portland would be "getting off lightly"....geeeeezuzzz...the Blazers would be getting off lightly by trading two starters and 5 first round picks, 4 essentially unprotected, for a 33 year old player who can't stay healthy

this website needs to delete the no-profanity rule for Blazer fans at least

Getting banned from that board was the best thing ever. Literally no good has ever come of it.

Miami seems to think they are in a good spot to land Dame either now or by the trade deadline-they might be right. My guess is the Bam talk is Portland's way to jab back at them. No way Miami sends out Bam to Portland when that is part of the reason Dame wants to go to Miami if things don't go his way.

I'm not even sure why someone would frequent a board if the trades were 99% of the time trash. It's basically like watching a TV show that pisses you off and you hate, just so you can get super mad about it.

I have only gone onto the T&T board a handful of times in my entirety on RealGM despite being here a long time, and to top that off I check the Blazers board and/or the general board almost every day.
